Interesting platform but too many fake accounts and high costs
I signed up for FanPlace about two months ago with some initial enthusiasm, but I've been increasingly disappointed. The concept is interesting—connecting fans with content creators—but the execution has significant issues. While there are legitimate creators on the platform, I've noticed many profiles appear to be fake or inactive. These accounts clutter the browsing experience and make it difficult to find genuine interactions. Another major concern is the pricing structure. The costs are quite high for what you get, especially when you compare it to other similar platforms. You're constantly being pushed to upgrade or purchase credits just to access basic messaging features. The customer support is also lacking; my tickets took days to get responses. That said, the interface is relatively user-friendly, and when you do connect with real users, the experience can be decent. But overall, FanPlace feels like it prioritizes monetization over user satisfaction. If they could address the fake account problem and make their pricing more competitive, the platform might be worth recommending. As it stands now, I'd suggest exploring alternatives before committing your time and money.
