Shambolic Parking Company with no empathy or understanding.
I went to stay at a Travelodge in Preston and according to reviews, it was notoriously bad for the car park layout. I struggled to get into a parking space due to the tight turns and the massive pillars that were spaced every 10 metres and eventually I managed to park my car but then, not even a minute later, the parking attendant told me to park outside as it's easier to park and it's free of charge and so I had to manoeuvre my car out of the car park again. They charged me £60 fine for 'parking' for 17 minutes when the free parking was <15 minutes despite a massive chunk of that time being me trying to get into a bay in the first place. After that, I gave the appeal saying that I was a hotel resident and they said that they acknowledge that but I didn't register my vehicle. Absolutely shocking customer service and lack of empathy from a capitalist company. For the record, my car was maybe parked a total of 5 minutes maximum.
