Banfield of Shawnee Mission Kansas - A Diamond in the Rough

Banfield has a reputation of being sort of a McDonalds of Veterinary Hospitals -- they exist everywhere and they ll do in a pinch if nothing else is available Some of them are good some of them are lousy I ve been to both The said there are those occasional treasures that rise above the mixed-bag brand name to deliver a service that is nothing short of exceptional Shawnee Mission Banfield is such an institution These vets will go above and beyond to take care of your furry family member If something is wrong they will turn over every stone and search every obscure possibility to figure out what needs to be done and in the off-chance they don t have the solution they will get you in contact with the specialist who does They will celebrate the milestones and they will hold your hand through the hurt They have been our vet for 6 years now and it is so important to have a team that knows your animals prioritizes their needs listens to your observations and will stick it out with you till the bitter end Granted that many of the negative reviews pertaining to Banfield as a whole are probably not wrong However if there s even a chance that your local Banfield is staffed with the quality of veterinary excellence that can be found at Shawnee Mission Kansas than it is well worth the look
