ABC IVF Harley Street London

I ve been to ABC IVF Harley Street 103-105 London the worst clinic I ve ever seen they just scammed our money first proper Dr who deal with you but after they just give you nurse which she doesn t know what to do my cycle failed because they give me high dose of benfola so my reaction was high then they lower the dose still is high for me at the end they ve just told me to stop it and go for egg collection and still have benfola and the other injections in the fridge just sitting there lol Also the embryologist team was very unprofessional on the day of transfer so all the cycle was rushed After that Dr X phoned me and said to book another cycle and I will get proper Dr who will chase my situation this time and they will give me the exact dose I need and she admitted that they ve done wrong and the cycle was rushed but I said sorry I can t afford paying for your mistakes another 3600 again my advise never go for cheap clinic if I just paid little bit more I would receive proper treatment and care from professional people

Dodged a Bullet

Upon reading reviews here on poor customer service and care we decided we ll give them ago as the local clinic was claimed to go above and beyond All was going well after the baseline scan the local nurse was attentive and caring However the initial consultation was missed as we were unable to login the zoom We had tried to call the practice for assistance but there is no way of getting through out of hours Emails were issued to be advised that we would need to pay for a new consult fee as their team were able to login This then was explained and an email from the team advised we can rebook the appointment Upon calling to book we re advised once again of the issues and the booking All in all luckily this was a consultation phase It is clear to us they only care for money and they are never available out of hours if you need urgent care Nor do they care to understands the customer or patients point of view Later Edit this then was picked up by Jo that although the attempt was once again tried when on the phone and a screenshot was issued to by email Then asked for a further video proof On top of this had the cheek to say their call records only show we tried at 8 27am Is ABC insinuating we are lying All for 85 If this how you value your customers ABC In response to your reply no the team hasn t been in touch I m not satisfied and still offended and undervalued as a customer This response alone was over 2 weeks after the fact

ABC Bristol - a story of two halves

ABC Bristol was truly a story of two halves The initial care was lovely our consultant was wonderful and all monitoring scans went as planned and we responded well But once we had paid and had egg collection the other half of the story turns into severe disappointment and a seemingly disinterested attitude We were left appalled and disappointed when after our failed transfer of an extremely poorly graded day 5 embryo the embryology team were incredibly unhelpful defensive and almost rude to a point about what we could try to do differently next time Im not naive and know that it can fail at any time for any reason however when asking what we could try to improve next time which to me is a fair enough question before we pay them another 5000 for round 2 they were unhelpful and almost rude and I was told just repeat the same and hope for something different Yes certainly made me want to spend more money with them We left and found a more caring clinic A year later after moving clinics and receiving care from the new clinics embryology team which has been absolutely amazing I ve decided to leave a review to say I was severely disappointed in ABC specifically their embryology department really I think you get what you pay for and ABC is cheap

Absolutely disgusted with our treatment

Absolutely disgusted with our treatment so far it s been constant chasing issues with my thyroid put on an insanely high dose of thyroxine two blood tests n it s dropped so low now it s over active and only advice is go back to your GP

Awful experience please read

I am 33 and had an antral follicle count of 12 and have a good BMI of 21 The reason I went with abc as I thought I didn t need more tailored medication My whole treatment was rushed only 2 of my follicles responded to the 150 Bemfola I was administered On day 6 I was told everything looks absolutely normal even when only two shot up Day 8 I was told we have 2 big juicy ones At 4 30pm Monday I was scheduled for egg collection on the Wednesday I was told everything looked really encouraging amd they wanted to get me in asap to not lose those follicles as we may have had I of waited until the Friday The 2 promising eggs were immature It was a failed cycle and now my period arrives 10 days earlier than usual By another practise which is more expensive I was told they don t use Bemfola as it s cheap and not quality medication They were also surprised that abc hadn t cancelled the cycle I have suffered depression and immense stress from the treatment of this clinic I wholeheartedly believe if I had gone to this more expensive clinic at an actual hospital where they would never proceed with only a potential of 2 eggs then I would have had a much better outcome even if it were breaking the cycle to advise more medication so I had more eggs The reviews on their website are from create fertility in Manchester from 2019 what does that tell you Create is doctor led and abc is nurse led how can they use the same results I hope this review helps anyone not to have to go through what I did Good luck on your journey

Nightmare experience with ABC s hellish

Nightmare experience with ABC s hellish clinic at Wimbledon They misinformed us messed us around and gave us all sorts of conflicting information about our cycle We continued with the cycle based on the bogus 30-40 chance of a live birth they gave us but it failed spectacularly at the first hurdle Didn t get one viable embryo from our cycle I made a complaint about our treatment and was sent an evasive and dismissive response from someone called Dr Rostom Our nightmare experience at ABC Wimbledon broke our relationship and caused us both significant mental health problems Will be reporting them to HFEA To give you a flavour of how incompetent this clinic is - they mixed up our papers with someone else s and started reading from a perfect strangers sperm analysis in one of our consultations- they wrongly diagnosed my partner with azoospermia which he didn t have- I was given the wrong stimulation medications by their St Paul s clinic which meant I needed to make 2 trips to the clinic in one day a total of 6-hours travelling for me- they gave us a 30-40 chance of a successful pregnancy but then told us the complete lack of viable embryos from our first cycle was to be expected given the quality of my partners sperm- when I made a complaint I got sent an evasive and dismissive response that shirked any sort of accountability whatsoeverI m really disgusted by the lack of professional integrity general competence demonstrated by ABC throughout our cycle Will add to this that when I went in for my egg collection at Wimbledon the toilets outside the theatre stank like they hadn t been cleaned in weeks and none of the nurses knew if I should wear plastic foot coverings in the theatre or not Avoid avoid avoid

Money is everything for this company

I booked an initial blood test with ABC IVF on 6th August 2024 followed by a virtual consultation scheduled for 15th August 2024 Unfortunately the experience has been nothing short of frustrating and disappointing On the day of the consultation we joined the call on time but no one from ABC IVF showed up We waited for 8 minutes and when it became clear that no one was joining we had no choice but to leave the call Since then we ve been chasing them to get our reports but the response has been abysmal no one is willing to help us despite the fact that we ve already paid for the service To add insult to injury when we finally managed to get through to someone they had the audacity to ask us for more money ABC IVF markets itself with the tagline affordable IVF but in reality they seem more interested in squeezing every penny they can out of their clients It s a shame that a company dealing with such sensitive and emotional matters would behave in this way What s worse is that they had our phone number and could have easily called us to join the consultation if they were late But they didn t It seems like they intentionally avoided contacting us so they could charge us again for the service we ve already paid for now they wanted more money to provide our report which we already paid for If you re considering ABC IVF be warned their commitment to customer service is non-existent and they appear to be more interested in making money than in providing the care and support that patients need I called them to know about my report and they said I have to rebook and it s chargeable They sent me a link before the call on 15th August as there was no link in the previous emails strange isn t it So they sent me a link on my email straightaway before the call and I joined via that link I waited got 15 minutes but nobody came online from abcivf neither they called me on my cell so they gave me a wrong link for the meeting and when I called them back the lady on the phone was putting me on hold for 10-12 minutes and then came back and demanded money to rebook the call To discuss our reports In the very beginning of the process And then when I told her I have emails proving that they had sent me the wrong link she put me on hold again and then disconnected the call and never called me back That s their business strategy Not sure how people had great experiences with them or is it just paid reviews Stay away unless you re prepared to throw your money away on fake commitments and poor management

Very bad service

Very bad service once you paid for the service no one offer you anymore attention I went for the frozen transfer and they could not give me an appointment because They said I do not have priority only fresh transfer has made me very disappointed After the transfer no one gave me any phone call or to give me advises about failure very disappointed

Im disappointed in my experience with ABC You would think a curtesy call would not have been to much to ask for As soon as you have your egg implanted you re on your own No phone call to check how it went if we would want another round and the next steps or to check how we felt emotionally You re just left They have got your money now so they don t care It was such a poor experience i have actually questioned if I would want to put myself through it again

Absolutely disgraceful service

Absolutely disgraceful service lack of professional communication and have no concept of the clients needs on this journey One of the staff said to me when I said my review would reflect my bad experience 1 bad review in hundreds does no damage to us The the London branch really need to learn how to deal with clients they do not check in with clients do not show any emotional support From admin staff who overcharged to patient coordinator who has no idea on how to guide the patients on their portfolio to nurse consultants who have no idea how to communicate I am sure plenty have come through with good results but what I experienced was under par even the NHS who are under extreme pressure operate better than this clinic And that says a lot Avoid if you don t fall into the norm category Pay that little bit extra and get the correct care and experienced team
