You basically can t build WordPress sites without ACF meta fields The addition of the ability to manage taxonomies and post types with ACF has made the plugin even more valuable The plugin was original created by Elliot Condon Then it was acquired by Delicious Brains and Delicious Brains was bought by WPEngine But in spite of the changes of hand the development of the plugin continues to be dependable
