Couldn t recommend enough

I believed I was paying too much in business rates and after a quick Google search came across Appeal My Rates and gave them a call They were very helpful in explaining the process and within a couple of days someone came to inspect our property and they confirmed my thoughts and explained the ways in which they believed the rateable value could be reduced They then went away and formalised this and I only needed to give them access to my VOA account as an agent of ours and that was the extent of my input It took a while due to covid back logs with the VOA but eventually after a year I heard back and they reduced my rates by a significant amount Making back the amount I paid Appeal My Rates back within a couple of months with my new reduced rates bill Very much recommended

Honesty integrity and a great result

I know this area of business may be a bit niche but when you need their help you need it and I am so pleased I engaged Appealmyrates to support my small business I had tried to deal with my dispute regarding the Council s handling of my business rates myself but kept getting knocked back After a really helpful conversation with Paul I agreed to engage this firm Within a few weeks they got the Council to review their decision and find in my favour Throughout the process I felt listened to and supported by Catherine Lucy and Paul and can absolutely vouch for the honesty integrity and dogged determination of this team They were fantastic Paul told me he liked to take on the David and Goliath cases and in this case David definitely won I would not hesitate to recommend them to others needing help arguing their rights with Local Councils and Business Rates
