Asda OK Tyre fitters clowns

Ordering online easy and good choice of tyres Booked appointment with one of tyre fitting garage called F1 AUTOCENTRES orpington for early appointment at at 8 30 As soon as I had payed for order they phone to tell me that 8 30 am appointment not available so thet said 10 00am was available which I took when I asked how long job would take they couldn t give me a answer only to be told we don t have a tyre fitter what a joke Asda need to look who they painter up with Ended up cancelling order would be 5 stars if it wasn t for F1 AUTOCENTRES clowns

Using asda tyres was a new experience

Using asda tyres was a new experience for me but sale was clear and told me what i would be getting for my payment which was cheaper than the competitiors when i came to order before i did order months ago it wasn t i feel it depends on the time of year and what tyres are on offer especially if you need a specialist or name brand tyre i need run flats so its important i spend money for good quality tyres since I lack a spare

Shaky start but pulled it back

After ATS let me down badly it was now an urgent job to get tyres before our trip so I I booked with ASDA First appointment was cancelled after 24 hrs leaving me potentially in a very awkward position wrt getting tyres sorted in time ASDA still had my money and were apparently unaware that the fitter had cancelled the booking However Tracy at customer services gave it 100 and I went from grumpy customer to hopeful customer In the end the fitter she lined me up with did a great and efficient job so I m now a happy customer I m still a little nervous about the reliability of the online bookings but Tracy proved that unlike ATS there are people behind the scenes who give a monkey s and are capable and willing to help when things go wrong

Asda online tyre purchase was good

Ordered a single tyre through Asda Tyres online nominated a day and time and paid Liked the site as it was easy to compare tyres and prices Advice after checkout was fitter could be anytime across day but would call before they arrived Fitter was a day late got a call at the end of the day expected advising some admin issue caused no show that day Arranged a new time for the following day and fitted arrived as expected Fitted tyre without any fuss or bother

Tyre woes

Ordered a pair of tyres 215 50 r18 got sent a pair of 20 tyres emailed customer service Excellent response only to be told that I had to cancel one order re-order correct ones Easy Except the price went up 35 00 Fitter on the other hand Tidy Tyres Cwmavon port talbot was outstanding Car turned around in 15mins Outstanding

Seamless transaction - competetive

All online and very simple to select tyre size preferred brand and tyre fitting garage location with choice of time slots Fitters polite enough and started the job almost as soon as we arrived but all a bit scruffy there was no where warm and comfortable to wait That s where Asda lost a star Other than that a seamless transaction and most important the tyres are great a big improvement on those we inherited with the vehicle from new

4 Goodyear 4 seasons

Ordered 4 Goodyear 4 seasons tyres online with delivery in 2 days Decided to get them fitted at a larger company rather than smaller independent Used Dexel in Rotherham who were good Fitted all tyres in an hour as booked although lost one of my expensive dust caps Oh well Also supposed to receive 40 of vouchers from Asda on Goodyear promo but had nothing so far Contacted CS but no response Will keep trying

Tesla Model Y

I had a flat on my Tesla Model Y It was a first so I didn t know that you need a special Tesla-approved tyre I bought the wrong one but the fitting company was super-helpful in explaining exactly what I needed and the lady at Asda Tyres was super-efficient in refunding me My only comment is that the WEBSITE SHOULD HAVE TOLD ME THAT THE FIRST TYRE WASN T SUITABLE FOR A TESLA I searched for the tyre using the reg no in the site and it correctly looked up that the car was a Tesla Why then offer up tyres that are unsuitable

We dropped car off and after a meal close by went back and all had been done by a friendly staff

Great service and price

Great service and price only thing that could be improved is communications after your order you just have to assume everything is going to plan rather than getting a update to say your tyres have arrived at the centre etc
