Undergraduate Certificate Experience

The college program needs some improvements The customer reps are not completely informed Some information they provided to you is inaccurate The syllabus was inaccurate as well and needs to be reviewed before sent out to students Otherwise you study the wrong chapters and can fail a test for no reason The career diploma programs are very organized in comparison

I took a residential electricians course

I took a residential electricians course and later found out the it didn t comtain as much information as another college course AND THE BOOK that was given me for study Was a book tbat you could buy at any magaIne rack Disappointed with course material and that if I had any queations I couldn t talk to an actual Electrician Wasn t enough to take state residential exam

coding and billing

The material that I received was old and some of it was out of date and did not match I had a ICD 9 work book and a ICD10 coding book I had to borrow and buy books to complete my course No one was rude or unreasonable I will need to continue my education and will call ashworth college but I will first check the material out But I did like the online course an d studying at my own pace

I was told getting my bachelors degree

I was told getting my bachelors degree would be structured exactly like when I got my associates degree It was not For my associates degree textbooks were delivered now everything is online I asked before I enrolled After I enrolled I was told everything was online so I am stuck this semester I am old school and want a textbook so I will not continue after this semester

Home inspection

The course on home inspection was good and very educational but most of the building codes and practices were all american standards which aren t accepted here in canada needless to say im still doing my original job which is renovating homes instead of inspecting them

Do Not Like the New Course Formats AT ALL

Ashworth is a great online college They truly do let you complete your degree on your own time and at your own pace One thing I TRULY dislike is the way their format has changed It used to be that when I signed up for a course I would get a textbook and a workbook PERFECT for me But now they have gone the way of digital and I hate it I don t want to have to sit at my computer and read I want a book in my hand that i can highlight etc I loved the workbook that accompanied every course also It was a great way to round out a lesson Sadly those are gone and sadly so am I

I think that when I get into this class was useful for me but it needed a professor to work with one that can interact and answer my questions I was trying to work on this but I was no able to get a job You need more support

Although I like the format of the classes I found that the course I completed did not help me get the job I was hoping to none of the local Doctors office would even consider me in there office after completing the medical office assistant program I have over 25 years of administrative office experience but because I had no experience in a medical setting they did not want me

Decent but not an A

Unfortunately with all of the competition out there in the online education world Ashworth is turning out to be nothing special First it takes an unnecessary length of time for them to send coursework materials and upon reading through their student portal chat rooms this is a very common practice Major disappointment for the fast-paced student In addition to that they have a few folks on their support team who can be a little snarky or clever at the mouth A surprise I ll mention was the assignment of the ever elusive professor To be frank there seems to be no professor at all so why mention one period Shrug Now because 3 stars is obviously better than 1 star I will note that you can work at your own pace fast or slow once you finally receive your textbook Overall I d say this is definitely a great online school for those who just need access to practical coursework a user-friendly interface and content that mostly gets right to the point However to those with higher standards and seeking accurate more reliable up-to-date information you should definitely do your research and compare the numerous options out there Best Wishes to all
