Stay away from this company

I bought Autel maxi ap200 recently The description on their website says this device works with a BMW car but when I received it I found out that the scanner not working with my BMW g31 Contacted the seller they asked for some proof then sent all the evidence of that and they agreed that this item is not working as it should When I asked for a refund of my money back they refused to cover return postage Be aware of this seller they send you not working item and asking to return it at your expenseAVOID at all costs

Autel - a tale of two identities

I phoned Autel UK in Dunstable as I was worried about accidentally buying a fake Autel tool The man there told me Autel UK only deal direct with a few models not online and there are some of their products that are only available online He couldn t tell me the name of any reputable online dealers and didn t seem to know about the online products at all So there seems to be two Autel organisations selling two ranges of tools

This is NOT an official Autel

This is NOT an official Autel distributor I purchased an Autel MK808 for 400 it had NO functionality only menus and static information eg oil reset that already exists on the internet I could not get a return process or refund when I contacted Autel they emailed that autelstore co uk is not a distributor and the product was a fake clone Could not recognise decode any vehicle in my workshop Evidence has been posted on youtube

Avoid at all cost

Avoid at all cost Orderd battery says uk ship quick delivery waited over month for it and when contacted provided with wrong tracking numbers with different delivery address threw out uk finally arrived 3 and weeks late

BE WARNED MK808BT

BE WARNEDThese are grey imports there is absolutely no backup when something goes wrong Email replies getting increasingly aggressive Suspect also from my experience that they aren t fully compatible with UK modelsThere seems to only be a few Autel models that are available legitimately in the UK and the MK808 isn t one of them

MaxiPRO MP8 8BT Pro KIT

About 4 months ago i bought the MaxiPRO MP8 8BT Pro KIT sadly it stopped working In 4 months of ownership I used it about 10 times For few weeks I am trying to get some help from AutelStore without any luck They claim 24 7 email support but in reality they take weeks to replay the complaints emails On the WhatsApp contact number I ask something one day the reply will be next day if I m lucky Therefore I cannot recommend this Very poor customer support close to none

Does not seem to recognise VIN decode

Does not seem to recognise VIN decode or carry out diagnostics for European cars Service functions like reset IMMO are just menu options without functionality exactly like found in Chinese clones Shop refused to refund or replace stating that this was normal and some functions are only available in product costing 10 times as much AVOID

Update mk808ts

Had to do an update contacted autel uk said not interested contact autel China eventually Had to contact autel EU I spent 6hrs in total to get update and the correct pages to fill in form s etc what a pain all because I bought it on ebay never again easier to buy a new one lesson buy english instead of Chinese John P

Scam

Sent a scanner back for a refund Got authorisation and return address The scanner was delivered by Royalmail and signed for Never heard anything so emailed them I was told they didn t receive it back and said the tracking was not proof Out of pocket by 360
