took one week to recive funds

After applying online sending all my proof documents and linking my bank account I was messaged each day to resend these items Which I did - this went on for a week Then suddenly I was approved and the funds were sent On the plus side The staff are friendly and polite I ve never had to wait that long to get through to a person

FAST AND EASY

I took out a loan with AvantCredit UK I was very happy with the way my loan application was handled and how prompt the loan was made My only problem with the loan I took out was the length of the repayments Where I wanted to pay it back I didnt notice till afterwards the length of the loan term was longer than I wished making the interest rate higher

Expensive loan

Avant should review their interest rate again it s for people with less than perfect credit score so by charging them higher interest avant is putting them into more debt and difficult circumstances so please try to review your interest rate and how you charge it as loans are meant to put some ease into your life and not make it more expensive thank you

Refused my request for a senior member to review my complaint

Put a irresponsible lending complaint in against the business and received a response not upholding The response was very standard and so I responded asking for a review from a senior member of the compliance team and addressed what they had said and asked for it to be reviewed again as they didn t consider any of the supporting information I sent that showed why it was irresponsible to lend Got a response back saying that it wouldn t be looked at again Sent to FOS today with all the supporting information that proves I was already in financial difficulty maxed out in overdraft and payday loans at the time Not happy at all as the evidence was there in front of them

Straight forward online process and received loan fairly quickly BUT a one hit wonder Despite the initial experience being good you will have difficulty acquiring a 2nd loan despite paying off the 1st one with no problems

Got a large loan from avant credit for home improvements and debt consolidation It is a long process and anyone looking for a quick loan decision might be disappointed It was a full week from initial application to receiving the funds There is very little communication and you have to do a lot of chasing and when you do call consumer services you end up with a call handler in the US which is frustrating

Customer service was very unhelpful

Customer service was very unhelpful when calling and no continuity of assisting with problems Fell into payment difficulty and set up a plan with them and a few months later they sold my account on to a debt management company without any warning If this company had been a uk lender and not a USA based company I suspect I would have been treat better Again another company who throws money at you but doesn t want to help if you get into difficulty

Multiply money laundering searches on my credit report from Avant credit Not long ago did quotation search for a home improvements loan been shown in the results a pre-approved loan by avant credit but decided to go with the ones with better rates Now they do AML search on my profile almost every month Can t be good

I took out two loans with Avant Credit

I took out two loans with Avant Credit They both totalled 5000 I should never have been given them as I was a compulsive gambler at that time and had already over 12000 debt made up of payday loans and personal loans I do appreciate that it was me who applied at the time and I knew and was told their interest rates but as a compulsive gambler I would have agreed to anything for the funds I made a complaint over 13 months ago andAvant Credit took a long time in replying and investigating the complaint which eventually went to the FOS They agreed with me and I was awarded over 2400 six weeks ago Again Avant we re slow to react but today I have received full payment My advice would be to stick with it as Avant will respect decisions awarded against them by FOS
