Ordered 30 deck boards Arrived on time the driver dropped them in the front garden before even knocking on the door When I went out he handed the receipt and on his way he goes I moved them to the back garden When we started putting the deck down we noticed some of them are in a bad condition and others have green wax marking and chips We ended up with 5 boards out of the 30 we ordered un usable as the look realy bad I tried to clean them without luck Called AVS and spoke to Jason the assistant manager asking them if they can replace them and sent email with proof pictures I received response straight away saying this is natural and we can not replace them but we can sell you somemore and deliver them 16 of the product is in bad condition I bought from Wickes before boards much better quality and when I checked the price they were much cheaper Shame on you AVS

Didn t have product ordered Alternative product not the same as I ordered dispite being told it was Delivery was poseponed three time and took over a week Will look elsewhere in future

There s nothing wrong with the product but there was no pre advice of delivery day We were home but the delivery driver didn t knock He delivered between 12 50 and 13 50 When I came out again at 13 50 the two panels were lying on our car When we lifted them off the car had a small dent on the roof where the panels had been lying I emailed and sent photos immediately To be fair to AVS they emailed and called back same day to say they would investigate with delivery driver and get back to me I have heard nothing since I emailed to chase one week later as was bank holiday weekend so wanted to give them a chance but have had no response since Annoying- as we now have a dented car and we were home when panels were delivered so this was completely avoidable

ordered roof batten 40 of them was very bad knots everywhere when lifting just broke in 3 places send pictures to manager assistant no reply yet jus paid my money for garbage

Not delivered on the day specified and we never had a call to tell us why we had to call the depot to find out what was going on Better communication required

Unfortunately our experience with AVS Fencing was very stressful We were given a delivery date for decking but at 3pm that afternoon we were told tomorrow The next day after 3pm we were told definitely tomorrow Today i phoned to say we would have to cancel the order as we had had time off for the delivery now there was no time to build it We were told it was on the wagon and on its way To be fair they had 6 drivers off with covid but knowing that they should have contacted us in the morning so we could go to work At 17 35 i phoned the company to ask if the order was still coming but no one there so assumed not and cancelled the order 10 mins later it arrived 3 days off work wasted because we were not kept up to date Total lack of courtesy Will not use again or recommend

I placed the order and received an email saying delivery in 7 to 10 days I had landscapers on site and that lead time was manageable On the tenth working day after placing the order I phoned to find out when delivery would be It was clear that nothing had been done and was told delivery in 2 days Late afternoon on said day I phoned again and was told it had been changed to the following day By this time holes had been dug and we were waiting on the goods in order to proceed After complaining about total lack of communication I was told delivery would be first drop By lunch time next day it was apparent that first drop was not happening Phoned again and was told they were a driver short and had sent out on courier Courier had been told to make first drop but decided his own drop sequence Finally arrived 45 mins after last phone call Product was good the service none existent

I had to call you to chase my order I ve still not received it It s really irritating to receive your how did we do quiz twice You have a communication problem with both your supplier and me your customer

Only sending a review as I keep getting spammed to leave one to be honest Ironic considering I never even received delivery from them Ordered 6 bulk bags of aggregate and sand The driver refused to deliver on the day because of where my property was situated near a pedestrian crossing that restricts entry Fair enough if he did not feel capable but they had already checked the location on Google Maps when I made the order and said it was fine to go ahead with the delivery I ordered from another firm who were able to deliver no problem like others in the past have been able to do too - just needed a bit of common sense and the right angle Anyway the project was delayed as a result I made a decent saving going elsewhere in the end though so every cloud

Basingstoke Building Supplies AVS Fencing is a really good company to order supplies from until you have a problem with the order and need to contact costumer services I tried to email them about 4 times about my damaged order and nobody got back to me I would definitely Not recommend this company
