Appalling customer service Almost a month to receive my item
I used this company to order a Brodit phone holder The equipment itself is fantastic and I have been using them for many years However the customer service I got this time around was appalling Item ordered on 26th March 2022 No further communication after the initial email confirmation of order I emailed Babol on 6th April asking what was going on and when I would be receiving my item I got a reply the same day to say it had been shipped on 5th April and would be out for dispatch on 12th April why does this take a week I finally got an email on 12th April to say it had now been shipped but I received no trracking information Item did not appear so I emailed on 15th April to ask where it was I got a reply 4 days later on 19th April to say it had been shipped and finally giving me a parcel serial number but when I looked this up on the Royal Mail website there was no information for this tracking number By this time I was on holiday and as I use my phone for sat nav which was the sole purpose for the Brodit phone holder my teenage son had to hold up my phone for me for the entire 2 1 2 hour journey You can imagine how well that went down I saw on my ring doorbell whilst on holiday that an item had been delivered and when I did finally get home again having to use my son as phone holder it was in my safe place It had been delivered on 15th April I got a reply from Babol on 19th April to say that it was still awaiting delivery All in all an absolute shambles I can t believe it took almost a month to get this item to me with no tracking information and customer service having no idea where my item was as they said it was with Royal Mail awaiting delivery when it had already been delivered But the real issue was the length of time from order to receiving the item with no explanation for the delay from customer services In this day and age this is unacceptable
