Very poor customer I recently had a frustrating experience trying to change my phone number with this company The customer service process was unnecessarily tedious involving multiple layers of verification that seemed excessive for such a simple request The questions asked were vague and unclear making it difficult to provide the correct answers What s even more frustrating is that due to a single verification question that I couldn t answer largely because of how it was presented my account ended up being locked This feels incredibly disproportionate for a straightforward issue Overall my experience with customer service has been disappointing It seems there s a significant need for better training and clearer communication among the representatives If you re considering reaching out for help be prepared for a long and frustrating process I would not recommend this service based on my experience

I JUST CALLED YOUR LINE AND WHEN SOMEONE PICKED UP MY CALL AFTER 50 MINUTES OF WAITING I WAS PLACED ON HOLD AND GOT DISCONNECTED WAY TO RUIN A DAY BDO YOU HAVE THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE

They ask so many questions like what is the source of your income where do you live how much is your salary and where exactly is your area It s better to open an account on other banks than in any BDO s Bad bank waste of my time

Worst Customer Service Ever
Philippines BDO-Unibank s Customer Service is the worst in the world I ve used Customer Services for a whole lot of banks around the world but this one is extremely frustrating 1 Call Center will ring and put you on a non-ending voice-messages I was listening to it for more than a hour and no response even when it says that their Customer Service is 24 7 2 Email - They replied to my email but DID NOT address the query instead promoted their services They probably didn t even bothered reading my queries 3 Facebook Messenger replied to my first text but also DID NOT address the issue Then did not bothered replying to my next messages BDO Customer Services doesn t address my very simple issues probably because they do not know the answers to my VERY SIMPLE QUERIES about the number of 10-digits or 12-digits Account Number to use Other banks will not treat their customers like that Way too far from being a world-class banking No class at all

I recently applied for a credit card
I recently applied for a credit card I filled out a form with all my details name address yada yada Guess what They delivered my card to the address on their file instead of using the address I provided Now I have been looking for a way to get the card before anything happens Called their customer service - on hold for 3 hours now and nobody seems to know what needs to be done I am spelling out the solution for the I just picked the card up from one of their branches and guess what I was told to reach out to their customer service hotline even after visiting one of their branches

I just cannot believe so much people
I just cannot believe so much people still bank in BDO poor customer service A friend lost his money from stolen card emailed them about it and never get back to him nor update what so ever Again same friend He went to the branch to ask for help for an online mishap He never receive any positive attention or action Asked him to go to the other bank where he transfered the money My friend lost 150 000 pesos on lost card and 80000 from bank transfer mishap no help from BDO

Bad Customer Service
I am currently in US and my online app is not accessible anymore My first few months here I can still open the app for my transactions in the Philippines but just last week it logged out and I cannot logged in anymore due to wrong password it said but I doubt it s wrong and then my account got locked and ro reset it needs the otp from my PH number tried calling the 24 7 customer service and the US Toll number I spent money just to buy the Viber credit of 120mins call the load just runs out while waiting for the next available customer agent I ve been calling since 9am PhT to 1pm I then again bought the 180mins call and now called their number at 11pm PhT and yet no one is still available I did not expect this big of a hassle from you BDO

Stolen credit card
My credit card and phone was stolen overseas so it takes time before I inform my wife that she has call BDO to block my card but unfortunately my card was already maxed out before it gets blocked I asked for a dispute and it was not successful they did not even investigate I reported the incident within 24 hrs But they dId not approve it They will just put a blame on you if you lost your card They should have removed the dispute option in their system because they will just ignore it Now I m removing all my accounts in BDO
