Problem after problem updated

I have been sent an email by Bedrock Computers asking to review my experience with them As I am still waiting for my PC after over two weeks ordered on the 16th Feb I have given a low rating I have had very little communication from them and only when I have emailed to ask what is happening I appreciate they may have a huge workload however I think communication is poor I have had no estimated date of completion Update I finally got my PC on the 8th March after speaking with Charlie I think communication about why there was such a delay would have been very beneficial Anyhow as I took the PC out of the box the graphics card fell out don t ask me how I was gentle and in the process must have severed a few wires for the front audio cable this was explained by Charlie I was sent instructions on how to insert the graphics card and it seemed ok until I tried to run a game Supposedly a missing file that was actually in the right directory blue screen and then multiple black screens and being unable to load windows I can search and follow how to correct these things however I have spent sooooo much time that I don t have in trying to just get things to run When I eventually checked the device manager the graphics card wasn t even listed I don t have time to faff about I expected it to run straight from the start however it has been one thing after another I have emailed Charlie back on Sunday however not had a reply The PC is back in the box as I don t have time to sort A really disappointing experience after reading all the good comments Update 12 4 24 I really wanted to be able to add at least an extra star however my PC still isn t resolved I was told in an email I needed to return my PC and in the meantime they would get on with building another one However it transpires that it was the original PC that was worked on I received this last week Opened it on Friday evening all seemed to be working fine however audio didn t seem to work Saturday managed to get a couple of games working Sunday would not even boot up at all Tried searching internet for solutions but with no luck I did manage to get into safe mode once and looked at the spec only to notice that my supposedly i7 was an i5 - it has since been explained that the i5 is a better model that the i7 I have no idea but also that an extra 1gb drive wasn t partitioned luckily my brother works in IT who mentioned it Sunday I sent an email and recieved a reply late on Monday saying I was unlucky and it looked like the boot drive was damaged On Tuesday I spoke with them about all the issues and apparently the audio cable that was originally severed by the loose graphics card hadn t even been replaced an oversight apparently now I am waiting for a new boot drive - which is easy to fit myself not something I really wanted to be doing I want to share this experience because I know things can go wrong with tech and transit perhaps packaging needs to be re-thought however I have lost confidence that the company is actually rectifying its mistakes I admire that a young person has started their own business and that it is new with many learning curves however the lack of experience is now showing and thus I am still without a working computer which is actually needed for my self-employment 21 4 24 - Finally received the boot drive and the PC is booting up now however I have received two messages One saying Windows Home is installed on the other drive and this new boot drive is Windows 11 pro so I cannot alter any personal settings plus it is only 120GB and the other 1TB SSD is now not registering There are so many things wrong that I actually want to throw it in the bin Even though there have been a couple of upgrades to the graphics card and processor I have just noticed the monitors I have received are Dell when they were advertised as HP not that it really matters I ordered an extra 1TB of SSD storage which I don t appear to have so please check your spec is what you ordered I am done now and going elsewhere 29 7 24 Bedrock Computers have asked me to take down my other review as they have now refunded me in full which they apparently they wouldn t have done unless I agreed to removing my review

There been a bit of communication lacking and 3 weeks and still not been delivered

You pay for quality

Returned a pc after it didn t work correctly sluggish and slow Told us they received the pc have proof through Royal Mail it made it there Got told twice a better one was being dispatched and I still haven t received anything It s my sons birthday today We saved 100 s for this and he had nothing We are not in a position to replace it Edit They still haven t found the pc however they did get in contact with me the day after this review Although they offered us a massive upgrade for free it wasn t what we wanted as we had already purchased another for our son We have received a full refund Jack from the company is a sweetheart of a human and was so glad for him to call and try and help us Thank you Jack

Took a month to use

Ordered two weeks before my sons birthday 3-5 days delivery time stated Received an email to say maybe a delayRang them and they guaranteed it would be delivered before his birthday Received the screens the day before his birthday with the cable tidies at the back broken Rang on his birthday and there was a problem with case so they upgraded case and we received two days later Set up pc and keyboard didn t work and couldn t plug in a screen as wrong cable sentRang them and then waited another two weeks for replacements had to ring again and received cable and keyboard 2 days later and a 15 refund a few days after that Communication not good and different stories from different staff In a nutshell would I use them again the answer is no Only reason two star is product is very good and my son is loving it although he had to wait 2 weeks to use it

Avoid must be better more professional companies out there

want to buy a computer to SIM race after initial problems with communication this has finally been made to happen The t was the last good thing to happen part not available could go back to order a different case coz I made a mistake with the order DPD Don t Properly Deliver was a day late and cost me a days pay finally it arrived minus the keyboard and mouse which was ordered so bloody useless god forbid the thing doesn t work when I finally get it going

Long Delays in Delivery

Will update based on quality of product on arrival Ordered at the start of the month yet nearly a month later my PC still hasn t arrived Responses have been transparent if a little inconsistent but nothing to suggest a delivery anytime soon Overall somewhat underwhelmed with the service

Communication needs to be better We were sent a different system to what we ordered and only notified by email after it had already been dispatched When it arrived unfortunately after trying many fixes and contacting the support we couldn t get the WiFi to work to connect to our home network or two other hotspots So we asked to return the PC and get a refund We were contacted by email suggesting an alternative system but before I had replied another PC was posted out to us I had to contact again to say we hadn t accepted the replacement and didn t want another PC The delivery was recalled fortunately before they attempted delivery All this could have been resolved by actually communicating properly in the first instance explaining that you didn t have what we ordered and with the second PC not actually sending it until we confirmed we wanted it The refund took longer than we would have liked especially so close to Christmas Not a good experience for us at all

The PC arrived unable to run games I had to seek advice locally to see why my rig wasn t working I had to pay for Workshop Labour DiagnosticsAll Components Re-SeatedGraphics Driver UpdatedOther Missing Drivers InstalledBIOS Updated To Latest VersionOperating System Optimisation Performance TweaksRAM Speed Set To 6000 MT SWater Cooler Pump Speed SetCooling Block Placed Correctly Thermal Paste RenewThe bedrock team often did not respond to messages They never picked up my calls The messages at time I did receive sometimes were hastily written and off topic I would at a maximum receive two messages per day which were all via WhatsApp The saving graces- the cost of the products sent were competitive and they were willing to make adjustments and recost Overall I was quite disappointed that I received a product unable to function for its sole intended use and the communication was extremely disappointing I wouldn t personally use them again
