While visiting "Bitcointora," a site posing as a cryptocurrency news aggregator, a malicious script executed a drive-by download, installing a crypto clipboard hijacker on my system. This malware lay dormant until I attempted to send $11,200 in BTC to an exchange address. The malware silently replaced my destination address with one controlled by the attackers, and I unknowingly approved the transaction.
