I didnt like getting the impression

I didnt like getting the impression that all the books i ordered were in stock would be sent out as one order Not very happy about that as the books were a Christmas present have been delivered in dribs drabs 1 is still outstanding

The book arrived few days ago but it looks used and definitely not in new condition Blackwell books so far were that I ordered in almost pristine but not this one

The book arrived within the maximum time limit Notwithstanding it has some signs of water damage it wasn t supposed to have on the cover

Edited review overall Blackwells were professional and product is great

I initially had some issues with the delivery of my book but I have to say that Blackwells were professional and I would use them again After raising the issue they looked into my order and it arrived a few days later just now in fact I ve therefore increased my star rating I would say as feedback that it would be helpful to have a customer support email on the order email as all emails come from a Do not reply address and I had to hunt around for an email so I could contact someone Overall great product in pristine condition and once I was able to get in touch with someone they were highly professional

Little better packaging

I live in the US and your site has very reasonably priced books I ordered four books Two were in perfect condition and two were a little very slightly damaged Not that big of a problem but it would be if I were to give as gifts I think the problem was the box - the sides curved under thereby curving the books All that being said this was my second order and I ll definitely order again

The online order failed because you can t leave the browser to go to the banking app to approve the payment However I rang Customer Service and the agent was very helpful Also why are you asking for feedback before the book I order has despatched

Needs better quality control

I was disappointed in the package and the quality control One of my books got wet so there was a bit of water damage another book came with a bent cover I reached out to Blackwell to share feedback They will be replacing the book that got wet and I got 40 back for the book that came bent But as a bookseller I feel that Blackwell should have better quality control I am grateful that they did what they could to rectify the situation I hope they take better care in the future as I have already preordered a book

Why does it take so long to receive an order and why do Blackwells use 2 companies to deliver my order On the positive side the books when I receive them are undamaged and in excellent condition

Easy website and great that it s free

Easy website and great that it s free postage But when I tried to pay by Paypal it wouldn t allow me to do so unless I liked up with a certain account with Blackwell So the payment process took much longer than it should have done I ve never had this problem with Blackwells in the past so maybe this is something new

Customer Service Are Great Packaging Could Be Safer

For a book store i believe their books should be better boxed for shipping When my one piece omnibus arrived after a long wait time which i was told about before ordering it was damp and damaged They did give me an option to return and refund or 35 refund no return As i waited a while for the book i accepted the 35 The customer service was good and helpful- Thank you Ola for all your help Your help was 5 Only reason i didn t give a higher rating is due to the packaging the books come in I feel if the books was more secure inside a box inside the envelope then even if the outer packaging gets wet the inside will still stay crisp and clean
