Blackwell doesn t pay their bills

23rd of October 2023 Blackwell Bookshop ordered 12 Danish Language Textbooks by our publishing Company in Denmark We have sent 8 payment reminders and talked to their Finance Dept on the phone in February but the invoice has still not been payed The invoice is now 4 months overdue

I contacted my local Blackwell s about accessing a discount online They were really helpful and advised I contact online services for guidance I did so on Thursday Despite being spoken over continuously on the phone I was advised if I emailed them they would forward it and I d hear back later that day The following day I was advised they were forwarding my email I emailed for an update on Monday as I was keen to buy the books and received a reply to say they had responded and to check my emails I have had no response and despite requesting them to resend this email I am no further forward I emailed for details to complain but have had no response Thankfully today I have managed to Google 2nd hand versions from Oxfam at a much better price and have bought online Very disappointed with Blackwell s customer service

Terrible online service Ordered a book which arrived damaged Contacted Blackwells and was asked to take a photo of the book so they could assess condition They would be in contact One and a half weeks later nothing Contacted Blackwells again and was asked to repeat the process I did so One week later nothing Come on chaps whats going on Are you ripping me off

I submitted a TrustPilot review for a Blackwells Event book ticket that I purchased that was not fulfilled by Blackwells Despite submitting a request for a refund from Blackwells through Eventbrite Blackwells have dismissingly responded on Trustpilot that I should figure out which of their stores is at fault and contact them myself rather than them expending any effort whatsoever to find out who has breached my consumer rights and rectify this As stated in my original review - you should avoid them I was defrauded by them and they have zero customer focus to rectify Their response on TrustPilot even had the cheek to state that they would happily resolve this matter when in fact they happily ignored that they were contacted for a refund through Eventbrite and are happily doing nothing about it

I have bought 4 items on the 10 02

I have bought 4 items on the 10 02 The items have been dispatched on the 15 02 and on the 16 02 During the astonishing period of waiting I have tried to contact Blackwell s repeatedly asking for any relevant information During this period the only information is that there was no information about my order since there was no tracking and I should wait until the 20th or 21st of March before asking for refund according to Blackwell s terms and conditions After this period I asked for refund several times Firstly I was asked to act almost as a private investigator - suggested to go to local post to check with surrounding neighbours etc - for something that Blackwell s can t even trace or provide a tracking number As if this was not enough now I am asked to wait again one more week - what consists in Blackwell s suggesting to break its own terms and conditions This is not tolerable and certainly the worst experience I have ever faced on e-commerce The amateurism and the lack of compromise with costumers is not acceptable I expect that Blackwell s procedes to the refund This is not tolerable and certainly not something that any company should be known for

Falsely advertise shipping timesOrdered a book with estimated 72hour dispatchA week later still not dispatched contacted customer service to be told it should be another 48 hours but could be longer due to having to dispatch from elsewhere Checked the website and it s still advertised as dispatching in 72hours

Awful Awful Awful

Awful Books left by courier in the rain snd damaged Blackwells quickly agreed to replace and I advised they were required as gifts for a birthday Late responses to emails most written in appalling English none addressing any of the points raised Obviously the books failed to arrive in time for the birthday Dreadful and at times almost unintelligible correspondence and customer service Appalling from such a company

Approaching 3 weeks now and still not

Approaching 3 weeks now and still not received my item I have sent 2 chase emails to Blackwell s who have decided to completely ignored me instead My 1st order with them and definitely my last Problems with shipping stock etc I have no issues with but there is NO reason or excuse for such awful customer service
