Dealing with this company is the worse on-line purchasing experience I have ever had and I have been making on-line purchases since Internet shopping started in the mid 1990 sBlusafe Solutions Ltd refused to comply with UK Distance Selling Regulations and would not issue a refund for a non-working product that was either faulty or just Not Fit For Purpose On 03 04 23 I purchased a so called fingerprint operated euro cylinder replacement Smartlock from Bluesafe Solutions Ltd Fingerprint recognition is quite a mature technology now and has been available on multiple smartphones tablets etc for many years so one would expect it to be an ideal solution for opening your front door As the Blusafe Solutions Ltd website suggests You can t forget your fingers The fingerprint recognition technology used by Blusafe Solutions Ltd is as close to that used in the latest smartphones as using a quill pen is to a word processor Whilst try to get the device to work as advertised I spent nearly a whole day annoying my wife and daughter by continually asking them to register multiple fingerprints Not once did the lock open on the first touch of a finger As shown in videos on the Blusafe Solutions Ltd website The device always required touching the pad 5 to 9 times whilst placing a finger in different orientations I tried reregistering everybody s fingerprints and registering the same fingers multiple times the door still didn t unlock on the first second or third touch I also tried reseting the lock and starting from scratch The last straw was having an argument with my wife about the lock being late to visit my 92 year old mother in hospital and then the door failing to unlock when we returned home The fingerprint function proved to be so unreliable that I had no option but to remove the lock So Within a couple of days after delivery I realised the product supplied did not work as advertised and I asked Blusafe Solutions Ltd to arrange to collect the device for a refund They refused saying they could not accept it back as the device had been installed I do not see how I would be able to ascertain that a smart lock that needs to be fitted to a door to function did not work until it was actually fitted to a door Blusafe solutions then suggested that I could use the smartphone App or a dongle to open the lock if it did not recognise a fingerprint which is like saying If you car engine won t start you could always push it I was also concerned about the overall quality of the product especially the plastic cover which appeared to be made from cheap plastic the WiFi bridge 49 95 Extra which enables lock control over the internet was a cheap looking unbranded plastic box that looks likely like to compromise your home network security I filed a dispute with PayPal as Blusafe Solutions Ltd had not only sold me a product that did not work as advertised but was also not complying with consumer distance selling laws As this was a clear-cut situation I thought I would receive a swift refund I did not I received a refund today 10 05 2023 so I had to worry for well over a month if I was going to lose nearly 300 Please don t make the same mistake as me and deal with this terrible company

Stick to a lock and key

My experience sadly is not a happy one from Blusafe They were extremely helpful when I was about to place an order However after having done so and then having the handle installed by them their true colours were shown The app is appalling doesn t provide reliable and accurate notifications of the door being unlocked locked No google home implementation despite it being contained in the app No sms notifications despite it being within the app Talking to J only gave empty and unfulfilled replies I asked for a refund like another reviewer was refused as I had the handle installed Despite my initial belief in the product I have been left extremely disappointed and it s been more stressful not having the confidence and reliable notifications of entry being made to my property I ve not heard from Blusafe Solutions for 2-3 weeks since reaching out to them Now I have been refunded by PayPal they have now decided to contact me to return the handle I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone Please carefully consider any purchase Update to their comment- I paid for installation and offered to return the item when you reinstated my original handle It was you whom decided not to bother With regards to Google home there is review freely available on techadviser of your handle This was dated January 2022 whereby it was advised Google home would be forthcoming Here we are 16 MONTHS later and still not delivered Even the reviewer said the app needs refinement Too right Android notifications do NOT work No SMS notifications a basic requirement Who wants to keep opening the app to see if their door has been opened or locked The app has not been updated since march 2022 Please do not try to put me in a bad light It was you Jack who pretended to speak to higher powers even though you are a director

Rubbish product

Rubbish product even worse customer service We have been trying to get help with the lock for months and no response Now locked out of house When we get in the blusafe lock is going in the bin

Poor device and poor support

Poor device and poor supportI have had a Origin Smart doorhandle for 7 months I have 3 problems 1 I have never been able to connect to it via bluetooth If I didn t have the hub I would have been locked our very frequently as it often doesn t recognise my finger This is despite the fact that I have registered the same finger more that 20 times It only allows 4 incorrect scans and then says Usage limit exceeded please try later If the internet is down you are stuck outside If you don t have the hub then you re stuck anyway I have tried many times to connect again with bluetooth taken out the batteries and put them in everything I can think of No luck 2 The support are just no help When I did once get in contact they assured me that because I was connected through the hub it would share my bluetooth connection Then the internet was down and I was locked out No bluetooth I have been ignored by support many more times 3 The usage limit exceeded thing I have 2 fingerprint padlocks and they always work within 4 attempts Why not the door handle Incidently the second fingerprint padlock is not Blusafe was half the price and is much nicer

Not compatible with many UK doors and terrible after care I don t recommend at all

I don t think they even deserve 1 star as their after care is not acceptable Today is 15th day since the purchase of this lock after paying 460 Lock broke down twice and we are locked in the house The company is saying the lock is not a problem but our door is as it is not compatible with our door They knew but did not tell us the truth and sold the lock We are unable to open the door and locked in They made our house a prison Utterly unhappy and this is a crime

Do Not Buy this product

UPDATE - response to Blusafe reply - try listening to the multiple messages on your answer phone which you have ignored for the last week It has our contact no on it Do not ask me to make contact again with you when you do not respond anyway Do Not Buy this product I bought the Origin Smart Lock and it broke 4 times in 18 months When it breaks you cannot lock your door The 3rd time the locksmith sent by Blusafe changed the lock mechanism which cost another 200 and said it would solve the problem Now stopped working a fourth time and I have had it removed Cannot get hold of Blusafe Do not return multiple calls on line chats emails and locksmith did not return my calls either Steer clear of this company

Helpful when spending money Not so much when something goes wrong

When buying the product and asking questions they were very attentive Had the item 2 months and it s not working 3 emails just ignored

Poor customer service

Customer service Telephone answer machine left two messages no replies Emails no response after 24 hours to an urgent request to a failed door lock on a Thursday Friday afternoon now No phones answered another email sent Update I ve had to remove the door lock to secure the premises Waited until the end of the day for some customer support 1 star was deserved
