I have been an online Boscovs shopper for years and never a problem Always super prices and I order when there is free shipping at a minimum amount The customers service reps are super helpful and have went beyond their job description to help me on occasion example I wanted a specific handbag the site stated the bag was not available in the color I needed for an upcoming event I called customer service to beg them if there was any way that that color bag could be found in ANY of their stores I was told by a very pleasant young sounding woman that she would check to please hold on the line I waited to my shock she had found the handbag at a store in another state and was putting me through to that person I waited and spoke to the sales clerk whom took my address and said the handbag would be shipped out asap with free shipping too Now that s great customer service I have never had any bad experiences with Boscovs I have had to return an item once and I never had to pay a cent and I received full credit They have a great selection of Brand Name merchandise at super prices when on sale I have bought awesome dresses for as little as 7 99 and just received one that was 69 99 and I paid 9 99 it s good quality and brand name The people that are complaining about getting charges for shipping it is clearly stated you will be charged for multiple or over sized items and it is determined before payment I don t understand how anyone can miss it The buyer can accept the charges at the time or not I absolutely love boscovs com and order just about once a month always something I can use soap candles shoes etc and the list goes on I JUST copied pasted this from Boscovs site Read before you order any over sized items there is also a statement that lets you know about multiple items It s Not Boscovs Fault people can t read Oversized DeliveryItems requiring Oversize Delivery are noted as such in the text describing the item This service is available only in the contiguous 48 United States items cannot be shipped to Alaska or Hawaii We do not deliver to PO boxes Most in stock items take 2-4 business days to process Estimated delivery dates are calculated by the shipping provider and will be available in the tracking information The specific delivery charge for the item is displayed in the Order Summary in the shipping step at checkout

We decided to check out Boscov s bedding department for a much needed mattress spent quite a while looking testing and discussing the different mattresses with Stephen at the north store He came and asked us if he could help us and gave us all the ins and outs of the different mattresses Thank you Stephen there are so many types to pick from He is very personable and did not rush us and we felt he would have worked with us until we made a decision no matter how long it was going to take We bought our mattress of choice and he explained when the delivery would be and that they would call us the day before and let us know the time frame now past experience with deliveries from any company has always been a mess so we kind of figured we would just roll with the flow Day before the delivery Boscov s called us and said they would be delivering the next morning just like Stephen said between 8AM and noon and we were the third delivery so we figured maybe around 10 to 10 30 or later Much to our surprise Adam and Sean showed up at 8 30 and the delivery was completed in about 15 minutes They were personable polite and very efficient Thank you Adam and Sean and WOW to Boscov s you did a great job from purchase to setting up and delivery Best delivery service we have had in a long time Also have slept two nights on the new mattress and love it

Damn the Torpedoes

I hate giving 5-star reviews Nothing is perfect but when I see 1-star and 2-star reviews written either for frivolous reasons or using diction by those who are evident competitors who do not have the ability to compete I may up my review a star There was no need to do so in this case We do not often go to the Eastwood mall in Niles OH 17 miles away except for Sam s gas but we are now going to go more often Reason Boscov s The store is huge the merchandise is of very good to excellent quality well stocked and the prices are fair or much better than fair even better than most other competitors However those are not the only reasons We went in just to look around and we found a relatively expensive item for our new home for which we had been looking for months so we were going to purchase it on the spot However the sales rep suggested that we apply for a Boscov s credit card Well there was a glitch in the process My wife had a Boscov s account which she had forgotten in San Antonio TX and it took almost TWO HOURS to straighten it all out to change the information Cassandra was a gem She stood with us all the way to get us through probably even missing or delaying her lunch break Michelle also pitched in and so did the manager and so did the staff in customer service Without them we probably would have walked You will be seeing us
