Incurring great loss to international customer

I placed an order with the Britannia Coin Company in October 2022 for collectible gold coins making an international purchase from Hong Kong to the UK Unfortunately more than a year later I still have not received the delivery The order status has remained listed as pre-order throughout this period despite numerous follow-ups I have contacted the company several times to inquire about the status of my order and request a refund but they have refused to issue a refund Below was the reply from customer service I have checked again for you with my manager Our investigation for this order from 2022 has concluded that we have shipped these orders with UPS but the system did not update on our site due to a technical error UPS have been unable to confirm nor deny the shipment as the tracking details no longer work due to the timeframe Please note that we have been unable to fulfil our due diligence because these orders were from 2022 and has only recently been raised as an issue of non delivery We can offer a credit towards silver proof coins as a gesture of goodwill Interestingly they used Royal Mail rather than UPS for my previous orders The lack of communication regarding when I can expect the coins or any resolution to this issue has been frustrating As a long-time collector I had high expectations for this purchase but the experience has been deeply disappointing I hope that the company will take my concerns seriously and either fulfill the order or issue the refund that I am entitled to Until this issue is resolved I cannot recommend Britannia Coin Company especially for international buyers Hi Kim as shown I made total 5 purchase orders from Mar to Oct in 2022 For the 1st and 5th orders I received I also received emails from your company notifying me the orders were dispatched with tracking number from RoyalMail For the remaining 3 orders I never received any dispatch emails The bads 1 For what reason you changed the delivery from Royal Mail to UPS 2 For such expensive items why there was no delivery records dispatch emails from Britannia Coin Company and from your previous answer no just no more delivery record could be traced from UPS 3 It seems totally unreasonable and unacceptable you just assumed such expensive items were delivered to customer 4 My 3 orders status still to be pre-order on Britannia Coin Company website coincidentally due to technical error as your explanation My impression the truth is these orders had never been dispatched

This was my first time with this company I had an issue with my online order as it was delivered to the wrong address according to Royal Mail tracking The company s customer service team resolved it by sending a replacement item The new item arrived promptly Thank you to the team for turning a potentially frustrating situation into a positive one I highly recommend their products and services and will be a returning customer in the future

Good place to get your Collectable coins

Found this Coin company via Youtube and thought i would risk trying them out buying a number of gold and silver coins from them No issues with either the finding of the coins I wanted or the buying and despatch of them coins UK wise if you purchase early enough they are shipped same day via Royal Mail and you get them the next day monday to friday shipping Prices are good and i will continue to use this company well pleased with them

Fast efficient acceptable valuation

BCC website was easy to use and I obtained a rough valuation of my coins ranging from gold sovereigns to 19th century very worn silver from it I sent my coins to BCC by Royal Mail Special Delivery on Thursday and received an acceptable valuation by email the next day which I accepted over the weekend I was paid by BACS on the following Monday So fast and efficient I thoroughly recommend BCC
