Salesman was excellent I bought a new kitchen bathroom and floor tiling The kitchen was partly installed on 17th November - it is now 21st January and it is not complete Two months - what an experience - never again

at the showroom I signed to buy some kitchen because of a nice 40 discount but now I cant find online the catalogue prices on which that would be based on The advisors seemed more interested in my signature for a discount deal than offering and advising me first about what exactly they offer Too bad I already signed Now I wait for the meeting to define the kitchen but cant even plan something online because the program doesnt run on my browser computer Maybe some day the deal turns out ok but in the meantime it feels bad

Be aware that Brugman says that its shower-head can be NOT as strong as your garden hose I e a hose may withstand the supply-water pressure if you were to pinch it or close the spray nozzle with tap at its supply end remaining open but in a similar situation Brugman s head shower may very likely leak at its joints or even the metal wall may rupture If you are ever in a situation to seek Brugman s service-deptt help they will presume upfront that you are lying or concealing facts in reporting the problem and out there to extract an advantage from them Also remember that Brugman s shower heads are not repairable and they very proudly would say that any problem occurring to you after the lapse of 3 year guarantee you should spend money in replacing the item at its full listed price Brugman s motto is that their products are sans any problems and to make a case they will even go against the basics of science as they informed me in a written reply that supposedly blocked shower holes would cause pressure inside it to become higher than the water supply pressure may god give peace to the great soul of Bernoulli

Good quality furniture but messy and ignorant management and client service - Get ready to spend hours on the phone and writing e-mails that nobody will answer - They make decisions about your kitchen without asking your opinion - Installation was ok but many issues with the piping - And don t surprise if they forget to order part of your kitchen - Don t expect that on the installation day your kitchen is ready It can take a few more months

Initially the service seems good swift and with expertise However if you do not have all things written in black and white Brugman will simply not be customer friendly unless it gets them more money Ordered a kitchen I informed the guy taking measurements I would be removing multiple layers off the wall He said It will be fine it s accounted for 1year later covid I finally am able to do the renovating and it seems the counter measurements are way off and i m left with gaps between two of the walls and the counter So I start the complaints process The TOS says that you can reject any first offer made by Brugman and within 2 weeks you will receive a new one I reject the offer in writing and afterwards Brugman do not reply in writing whatsoever Only a phone call stating it is what it is and then silence Terrible service As if I m expected to tell Brugman how to do their job based on their TOS Not only did Bruman expect me to pay for a mistake they made It s made out to be my mistake because they followed the measurements Because none of it is in writing and Brugman also not replying to any e-mail in writing they are effectively trying to avoid legal ways for you to get what you d get from a good customer service So beware when doing business with them Before you pay for anything make sure all your concerns are written in black and white

We ordered our kitchen in December initial estimation was kitchen will be ready by March It is end of May still my house is a mess appliances and stones are in my living room and no ETA The countertop was not measured properly so it doesn t fit even after two attempts The second one they brought was already broken and still measurements were wrong The worst is Customer Care or better to say Customer-don t-Care Zero communication no follow up You send email no response They promise to get back to you in a week nothing even after two The only good thing there is the third party they use to do the chores they are professional show up on time and don t just try to finish the job and care for quality

Honestly one of the worst experiences ever I ve received tons of email before signing the contract and after that the absolute silence when I was asking questions Still had to buy a glass for my bathtub but the store manager could not help me he tried to impose me his decisions not taking in consideration what my needs were He started to speak dutch and at my phrase saying i do not speak dutch he replied saying that we are in the Nederlands Left the store without the service I was looking for Stay away from Brugman Hilversum Too bad because materials are good

I am an expat and professional chef and i wanted my own style kitchen When we had our first meeting english i was happy with first draw and we decide to sign the contract then issue start our contact person lost her english and barely speak to me when she notice my partner do speak dutch At the end i was the one to paid 20K euros kitchen but couldnt understand at all the process My partner was very upset to do the translator as kitchen was my area At the end i am happy with the kitchen but not with the service from this store villa arena Amsterdam We wanted to continue with them for our bathroom but this experience make us changing our mind Do recommand kitchen but if you do not speak dutch dont go to this store or make sure you got a proper english speaker not one who got enough to make you sign the contract and paid first deposit then english gone

What worked The crew from Keukenman who installed the kitchen Minor inconveniences in the installation were addressed professionally by Brugman support services What I didn t like The initial engagement was fine but in terms of advise in designing the kitchen I d score a 6 out of 10 The number crunching to get a final price is ridiculously obscure and pricing is far from transparent You won t get an actual quote that is itemized just a bulk price Discounts are randomly applied on the fly The kitchen equipment inventory available to choose from is not easy to get to browse in one s personal time to make a more informed decision on costs needs Communication in general was fine when we were at Brugman but online communication was sub-par It was either informal or through email but the emails did not follow a thread or case number so it was really hard to follow I received multiple emails different subjects even when raising a claim for issues in the process We had committed to the dismantling of the kitchen and the installation of the new one in a specific week I got a call saying that it was not possible to dismantle the kitchen so I either had to do it myself and I could get Brugman s dismantling cost deducted or we had to move the whole project This was terribly painful as I had a commitment with contractors for the piping electricity work and whatnot in preparation for the kitchen and as required by Brugman I raised the claim but it was completely disregarded no compensation of any sort and I had to go chase another contractor who was available in the new offered date and also re-schedule my time out of the house with the family so the work could be done and we could have the needed facilities to cook Conclusion I wouldn t recommend Brugman as something special It s just another kitchen company and I m not sure there s much added value compared to IKEA I m no longer planning to consider Brugman for my bathroom renovations
