Pricing features everything is awesome BUT how is even possible that you can t change the folder of a video after uploading it I had to reupload dozens of videos because of this

Great service options and customer service but Bunny is experiencing issues with processing videos

In terms of functionality Bunny net is very attractive from a price point of view In general very fast responses from customer service but unfortunately Bunny net is experiencing a long wait to process uploaded videos stream Today I have been waiting for more than an hour for that reason I cannot publish a news article I ll wait and see if there are improvements for another week otherwise I ll have to look for an alternative

Only One Thing or Two

The only thing that I think can be greatly improved is the privacy of the urlsI know that in the stream section there is an option so that the urls of your videos cannot be used by others however it would be a very useful option if the urls cannot be used by anyone other than you since people like me use other video players to stream videos and anyone who gets that url can use and take advantage of the file that we host and of course the cost per use is paid by us affecting us economically And lastly perhaps lower the quota for the use of broadband a bit because if your website does not have a good monetization option it is a nightmare to be compressing your files so that the consumption of broadband is less 5 or 10 percent in the price per GB of broadband usage would be a big difference to us

Got a recommendation on this Hope to see more features added

UPDATE I must say that the Bunny net customer service is absolutely UNPARALLELED While I have submitted requests for the features I listed below I must give credit where credit is due and this is a company that values their customers Just wanted to hop on and say thanks for that Here s my original review I like the fact that this is a browser that s white-listed by many filters What I do not like is the user interface The features I d like are the ability to easily move files between folders The ability to stop an upload while it s going And that the system notifies you if you ve already uploaded the same file Right now it just uploads it as a duplicate Easier nomenclature I have no idea what the difference is between a collection and a library And easier pricing I literally have no idea how much I will be paying for storage and streaming which is not empowering Thanks

Frequently Asked Questions

Bunny.net is a technology company offering a comprehensive suite of content delivery, optimization, and security services on a globally distributed edge network. Its core services include Bunny CDN & Edge Storage for fast content delivery, Bunny Optimizer for automatic front-end website performance improvements, Bunny Security featuring a Web Application Firewall and DDoS protection, and Bunny Stream for video hosting and live streaming. The platform is designed to help businesses deliver web content, applications, and media faster, more reliably, and securely.

Bunny CDN enhances performance through its high-performance content delivery network comprising over 110 global points of presence (PoPs). It accelerates the delivery of static and dynamic content, video streams, and software downloads by caching content closer to end-users, significantly reducing latency. Integrated Bunny Edge Storage allows files to be stored and served directly from the network edge, further decreasing load times and reducing strain on origin servers.

The Bunny Optimizer is an all-in-one front-end optimization tool that automatically improves website performance. It functions as a reverse proxy, applying enhancements on the fly without requiring major code changes. Key features include automatic image optimization (such as conversion to WebP/AVIF formats and lazy loading), minification of CSS, JavaScript, and HTML files, and smart font delivery. This process reduces file sizes and optimizes loading sequences to speed up page rendering.

Bunny.net provides several security features to protect online assets. These include a Web Application Firewall (WAF) with integrated DDoS protection to filter and block malicious traffic, hotlink protection to prevent unauthorized embedding and use of your content on other sites, and token authentication for securing access to video streams and file downloads. These tools work at the edge of the network to mitigate threats before they reach your origin infrastructure.

Bunny Stream is a dedicated video streaming platform within Bunny.net that allows users to upload, encode, and deliver video content. It supports both Video-on-Demand (VOD) and live streaming with adaptive bitrate streaming for optimal quality across different devices and connection speeds. It is designed for a wide range of users, including media companies, educators, businesses hosting webinars, and anyone needing efficient video delivery, operating on a pay-as-you-go model based on bandwidth and storage usage.

Pricing and Developer Experience

Bunny.net employs a transparent, consumption-based pricing model. Costs are typically based on bandwidth, storage, and request volume, with no long-term contracts. The company offers a free tier for the CDN with generous limits, allowing users to test the service. The platform emphasizes a developer-friendly experience, featuring a clean, intuitive dashboard, a robust REST API for automation, and detailed real-time analytics.
