Lady was late for handover which meant I had to take more time off work the next day to get the car apart from that all good

Slightly mean spirited
Lovely building and warm welcome from Steve Transaction went smoothly The offer of a test drive would have been nice before money changed hands Having just bought a 28000 car I thought a charge of 10 for the caravan number plate was a bit mean So it was no surprise that there was only 40 miles of fuel in the tank Little things can mean so much 4 Further to my 4 review Carlingo have just replied thanking me for my 5 review Clearly nobody there reads their reviews I have therefore amended my review to 3

Professional Friendly
Staff were friendly helpful and professional Everything was wrapped up quickly Staff offered to collect me if I needed it after dropping off my rental car Minus- It would have been nice to have had a full tank The tank was on red before I travelled the 9 miles home to check and get a feel for the car

Mainly pleased with the car well presented and looked after by sales staff Engine management light came on on second day soot on DPF sensor and knock sensor fault Bristol Street Motors fixed it for me as not willing to do the 220 mile round trip to Harrogate

The staff were lovely but there was a problem with communication
The staff were lovely however there was a problem with communication regarding the pick up date of my car hence the 3 stars We had clearly communicated by email regarding date however when I turned up on that agreed date I was told that the car was not ready as they had a different date scheduled

The car was great and the service was fine but no more Test drive was agreed no problem Once I agreed to buy the car they took my deposit payment efficiently but then I felt I had to ask for information about next steps rather than being walked through the process I then had to change my plans to meet the handover date as had no options left to handover on a weekend

The actual sales experience and handing over the car experience was really good However the credit checking with Blackhorse is awful and very stressful even though I passed the credit check and I still haven t received my deposit back Car is fine Its not Carlingo that ruin the experience its the credit checking agencies they use
