Reservation not honered by car rental no refund

The car rental will cancel reservation at the balcony if you are 15 minutes late because of their own line at the agency and booking wil not refund your money Then you end up paying double as the car rental will charge you directly in order to give you a car

Horrendous do not book car hire through booking Booked a special offer the price seemed great so cheap picked Liverpool city centre pick up Once it was booked they moved the pick up location to airport 10 miles away upon ringing them to say what s happened they said oh sometimes the system does this and nothing they could do I ended up no car and they took 75 from my card Customer service put phone down on me and others stuck to script to say sorry but nothing they can do Avoid at all costs

Do not use this company We hired a car through them in the UK It was advertised as being able to carry 2 medium suitcase s plus carry on luggage in the boot We could only fit 1 suitcase in the boot along with other small soft items around it We had to lay the seats down to get the balance of our luggage in which then meant we could not put other family members in the car What a disaster when you have just arrived from Australia When we raised it with cars booking com they just said there was nothing they could do Do not trust this company

Rented car through booking com at INBO

Rented car through booking com at INBO at Orlando airport for 10 days for 172 terms said it did not include state taxes etc okay When I got there INBO rep insisted that I had to pay 600 more dollars for total of 750- 775 as required state taxes and special insurance was state required for each day although I have insurance proof that should have worked in Florida and that I HAD to pay 15 99 a day for the e-toll as was required by Florida law The etoll requirement is NOT true and the terms only said if they had to charge for insurance vague on why mine would not work the charge was 35 I did not take the car and booking com will not refund the amount and INBO is being paid for its fraudulent behavior It was late at night so I quickly got a different car rental for 277 that same night Advantage before I had to sleep at the airport who confirmed state taxes and insurance were not the amounts INBO insisted and etoll not required and if bought for a week it was just under 70 I filed dispute by chat on 1 24 with Booking com and was told to file again on website done again the next week 2-12-24 I am still not getting response from Booking com aside from auto-replies

I booked a BMW 5 series and ended up with a Skoda It seems booking com subcontracts other companies I paid my money including extra insurance When I picked the car up I had to pay an extra 70 as the car rental company wouldn t accept their cover If I had an accident then I would have to pay the rental company the cost of the car and then chase booking com to recover the money Not a straight forward process Book directly with rental company

Booking com gave away our pre-paid hire car leaving us stranded 6 000 miles from home Long story short Booking com online customer service agent said if you re more than 59 minutes late picking your car up they can give it away and still charge you What the clause in your contract ACTUALLY says is you have a 59 minute grace period when returning the car after the rental ends An hour of online debate later they still refused to refund our money so we booked locally through our hotel and will get the money back via our credit card due to non supply of goods We won t be using Booking com or their subsidiaries Kayak or Agoda again in the future They ve lost 20-30k worth of bookings a year over a 110 mistake

Bookings com would improve by being shut down they are unprincipled scammers taking advantage by being totally anonymous and unreachable Their online car hire listings with discount ads are click bait and you must ignore I booked thru Booking com with Alamo including roadside service that I listed and paid then had to buy again with Alamo Bookings com charged my acc 10 more than invoice Bookings com email confirmation does not have pin no TRhdC but Cust Serv help requires email pin to respondTheir online help does not respond to right click and just loops thru BS answers
