I was charged a fee of 25 to change my insurance from my car to a garage car Never had to pay that with other insurers

The Car Insurance hiked

The Car Insurance seems to have escalated its costs considerably and Cornmarket do not seem to have an alternative company to deal with other than RSA The broker I spoke to advised me to shop around but is not that the job of the Cornmarket broker and company I searched the Chill Insurance website s and found a quote considerably lower with Aviva but am still unsure why this search was not possible by the Cornmarket broker Cornmarket did deal with Aviva for health insurance from what I remember

Confusion re payment

After paying my deposit and confirming my current car insurance policy over the phone I received letters telling me that payment had not been received while simultaneously receiving emails to tell me everything was in order The company seems less efficient than in previous years

I pay monthly fees for the Tax Service

I pay monthly fees for the Tax Service however I am dissatisfied with their lack of help clarity accuracy and responsiveness related to some of my tax questions On two of these questions I have received written responses from Revenue which are at variance with advice from Cornmarket At this point I am requesting my concerns are escalated to senior management

My experience was not good

My experience was good Not too long waiting for an agent to take my call The agent was very good and handled all my questions in a professional manner I was dumbfounded when he told me that the car I was looking for an insurance quote was too old for a Cornmarket Insurance quote I never expected that in this day and age Did not see that in any Cornmarket correspondence You are in the business of car insurance so I would expect that covers all cars irrespective of age For that reason I am giving you 3 stars

Getting the initial quote and payment

Getting the initial quote and payment was actually pleasant and quite easy I was sent documents and received numerous reminders asking for my no claims bonus certificate but haven t heard back since I sent it it other than automatic email saying received email I haven t received my insurance disc yet

Disappointing service

Somewhat disappointed with my experience with Cornmarket From my first contact I made it clear that I was seeking tax services Nonetheless I was twice directed to investment service agents I forwarded my salary slip and service history as requested by email only to be asked for these documents again by the agent as he clearly did not know I had already sent them When I finally got across that I was looking for tax service there was a very long delay in response to the point that I thought my request had been lost I have had no direct contact with anyone on taxation since 07 08 2024 just an email requesting my bank details so I can be billed A hard copy letter did arrive by post in September looking for my tax details and I don t understand why this was not sent by email

Saved money on health ins and car ins Impossible to contact you by phone One is left holding on for ages but when you speak to taff they are very helpful I have been telling all my friends about the savings I made

Went for health insurance renewal review on the 5 12 24 Charged for consultation and they didn t act on agreed solution Impossible to contact afterwards Eventually they contacted me in January Issue was resolved
