Dealerloyaltyprotection Reviews: Real Customer Experiences & Honest Insights on Dealer Loyalty Protection
If you’re considering Dealer Loyalty Protection for your vehicle, it’s important to know what real customers are saying before you commit. Based on multiple Dealerloyaltyprotection reviews, many buyers report serious issues with coverage denials, slow claim processing, and poor customer service. One common complaint involves coverage being denied for issues like transmission failure when the vehicle had factory-installed upgrades (like 4x4 or lift kits) that the dealer sold. Customers often face long wait times on the phone and conflicting information about how claims are handled. In addition, several customers mention the GAP coverage experience as particularly frustrating, with settlements taking months and paying out far less than expected — sometimes less than 10% of what they owe on a totaled vehicle. Communication with adjusters is often described as minimal and unhelpful. Unfortunately, these experiences suggest that relying solely on the "loyalty" aspect of Dealer Loyalty Protection may not be enough to guarantee smooth coverage or claims resolution. If you want peace of mind, thoroughly research your options and consider alternative warranty or GAP providers with better reviews and transparent policies. In summary, the dealer loyalty protection reviews available online highlight a pattern of dissatisfaction and frustration. Be cautious and make sure you fully understand the terms before signing up.

Dealer Loyalty Protection Reviews: Unreliable Coverage, Poor Customer Service & Delayed Claims
I regret ever trusting Dealer Loyalty Protection. I was sold their “top-tier” coverage package through my dealership and told it would protect everything — including my lift kit and drivetrain components. Less than a year later, my transmission failed, and they outright denied my claim, citing “oversized tires,” even though the Jeep was sold to me in that condition — and it was supposedly covered under their policy. After over 30 phone calls, being on hold for 20–40 minutes each time, and constantly being redirected to different departments, they still refused to help. Every time I got a new representative, I had to re-explain everything from the beginning. The lack of communication, transparency, and accountability is staggering. Worse yet, my friend had a GAP claim through Dealer Loyalty Protection — it took six months to process and only covered a small fraction of what they owed, with no real explanation. Adjusters were impossible to reach and barely communicated during the process. It's clear this company does the bare minimum or nothing at all to assist customers once a claim is filed. If you’re reading DealerLoyaltyProtection reviews and trying to decide, do not waste your money. There are far more reputable warranty and GAP providers out there. Don’t be fooled by the “dealer-backed” name — this company will leave you stranded when you need them most.

Avoid Dealer Loyalty Protection – Unprofessional, Dishonest, and Intimidating Practices
I feel it’s important to share my deeply troubling experience with Dealer Loyalty Protection to warn others who might consider doing business with this company. I strongly advise you to read other reviews—you’ll find I am far from alone in experiencing what I can only describe as unethical and unprofessional behavior. My vehicle repair was covered under their warranty, and yet they attempted to avoid paying the full cost of the repairs, despite clear documentation: an invoice, a payment receipt, and a dealer email statement all supporting my claim. When I contacted their office to escalate the issue and requested contact information for their legal department, I was met with completely unacceptable behavior. SHAWN OSINGA, the payments manager, was not only rude but outright hostile, yelling at me over the phone simply for asking to speak with someone from their legal team. His conduct was unprofessional and aggressive, and he made no effort to resolve the issue in a respectful or businesslike manner. Things escalated further when I followed up with an email to their legal team, informing them of my intent to pursue legal action due to what I firmly believe was an attempt to scam me out of legitimate coverage. Incredibly, CEO Rich Benevento himself responded—not to address the problem, but to threaten me for requesting legal contact information. His unhinged response and demeanor were not only inappropriate for someone in his position but raise serious concerns about the internal practices and ethics of this company. This kind of behavior is not just unprofessional—it's intimidating and potentially unlawful. No customer seeking resolution should be treated with such contempt or fear tactics. It’s clear to me that Dealer Loyalty Protection is not a reputable company. Their aggressive conduct, refusal to honor claims, and attempts to silence dissatisfied customers by intimidation are major red flags. If you are considering their services, think twice. There are numerous other reports from customers experiencing the same kind of disrespect, denial of valid claims, and threatening responses when they try to hold the company accountable. I am currently preparing to pursue this matter in court if necessary. I urge others who have had similar experiences to document everything and consider doing the same.

Customer Review of Dealer Loyalty Protection
I had Dealer Loyalty Protection when I refinanced my vehicle with Regional Acceptance. After my car was totaled, I had an unimaginable experience trying to get any help. They refused to open my gap claim until my insurance released the check to cover their portion. Even after sending all the requested documents, they kept asking for more. Dealer Loyalty Protection took almost the entire allotted time to review my claim, and in the end, they paid only $1,600 out of $10,000. They didn’t credit me for the 3 months I had been paying on the vehicle since the accident. They claimed my insurance undervalued my car by $5,000 and refused to pay for that amount, which is a huge part of why people get gap insurance. This experience was a complete rip-off. I’m still paying on my totaled vehicle, and I can’t even buy another car. Do your research and don’t waste your money on Dealer Loyalty Protection. This company is a total scam. They make it almost impossible to cover a claim and turn the whole process into a painful experience. I even spoke to the CEO, who was incredibly rude and unhelpful. He even threatened legal action if I wrote a negative review online. Avoid this company at all costs! I spoke to the owner of the dealership where I purchased my warranty, and he was furious. Hopefully, more dealerships will stop working with this company. This is absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had. Their communication is horrible, and it took 3 to 4 months just to file and complete a gap claim. You have to call them every day to see what they need because they don’t call you back. They only send email or text updates. My name is Arthur Beverly, and I’m fed up with this company. I would give negative stars if I could. It seems like their main goal every morning is to avoid paying out on their garbage warranty plans. How much proof do they need beyond a dealer-specific failure video? How do you even provide real-time proof of a compressor failure when it’s all internal? Horrible company! I will not stop until I’m refunded for this terrible warranty. Dealer Loyalty Protection takes forever to process claims and insists on using cheap aftermarket parts with no warranties. They make customers pay upfront with the promise to reimburse them, but that reimbursement takes forever—if you ever get it. Two customers I know have been waiting for over two months to get reimbursed. It’s a total scam! Be prepared to pay for repairs yourself, be on hold for hours, and talk to people who just want to avoid spending any money on what you paid a lot of money for. I purchased GAP insurance with them when I refinanced my vehicle, but after my car was hit by a red-light runner, I’m now going on month 2 with no payment. They’re offering only $700 and some change, even though my gap is over $1,200. They claimed I missed my November payment, but I didn’t, and I have proof. I called my insurance company, spoke with them for 10 minutes, and provided every piece of info they needed. Dealer Loyalty Protection doesn’t want to pay anything and will lowball you with whatever they can. Worst aftermarket protection plan I’ve ever worked with. I emailed them everything they wanted, and my customer got in touch with them. They said they would pay the bill and reimburse it, but then they denied the claim. Complete waste of time. If you need to escalate things, try calling 702-682-2394. You might reach Craig McKernan, who’s involved in sending initial paperwork and might help with a refund. You can also try calling your bank to request a chargeback if they refuse to refund you. For anyone in Missouri who has had issues with Dealer Loyalty Protection, I am filing a complaint with the Missouri Attorney General and would include your experience. This company should not be in business. – Shari Huckins I purchased GAP insurance through them when I refinanced my vehicle. When my car was totaled, I had a balance of $1,000 left after insurance paid most of the loan. I figured my GAP insurance would cover the rest, but instead, they charged me over $600 in interest, $400 in condition fees, and a $14 late fee. This means they only paid $6 towards my balance. Complete BS! It seems like they’re trying to avoid paying out large sums. Stay away from Dealer Loyalty Protection if you want to avoid getting scammed.
