Been playing for a while and actually won and so has a friend of mine However the cars that we won from this website were in far from perfect condition and would have thought with the profit they are making on each competition the car would come with a brand new service and fully repaired to give the winner no problems at all to sort out The car I won was not in perfect condition as expected scratches stone chips scraped alloys and needed and MOT the following month which cost around 200 as there were a couple of things picked up which needed sorting before it could be passed My friends car had stone chips scratches scratched windows dirty inside scratched alloys and a few bodge stone chip repairs and yearly service due just a couple months after it was delivered which you wouldn t expect from a 20k car and you wouldn t expect that when picking up a new car which should be the same quality if not better I ve also seen people comment on Facebook on pictures to point out defects with cars that they advertise however these are generally shot down by the brown nosers who constantly remind people that you could win a car for a few quid so stop moaning as more recently someone pointed out a defect with a Mercedes C63S front bumper yet this comment was ridiculed by said brown nosers then not long after this comment pointing out the defect miraculously disappeared or more likely was deleted by dream cars More recently few days ago they advertised a white V8 Jag F-Type as nearly half price tickets for the first 75 of entries 2 99 then after 75 were sold the ticket prices were going back up to full price 4 99 On the draw date yesterday this price was never altered and there was still maybe over 3000 tickets still to sell on the morning of the draw I appreciate they have got to sell the tickets and they may have struggled selling 3000 tickets in say 8 hours at the higher price but why advertise this as this isn t fair on the 75 of people that got entries at the cheaper price and would have given the first 75 entries a higher chance of winning However on other competitions where cheaper ticket prices are advertised for the first 75 and the ticket sales seem to be selling quick the ticket price definitely goes back up to full price so can only assume they were hoping no-one noticed that there advertisement that said 75 only are at the cheaper price which is why it this has also disappeared off their advertisement in their website but is still on earlier Facebook posts Like all businesses they work off profit and all businesses have overheads but the profit they make on each car competition is stupidly high in comparison to what the car is retailing at in most instances 10k profit on each car competition more profit with the supercars again I understand they have to source the car check it over sort faults etc but even the 12 5k cash draws have 17k tickets with what I assume to be very little hassle involved The high profit margin have been highlighted with people commenting on their Facebook posts yet get shot down pretty quickly but the brown nosers but these said people obviously don t understand as an example that a car that retails at say 10k yet tickets are 10 with 1700 tickets means 7k in profit when there could be 1500 tickets giving 5k in profit when the car will more than likely be bought at trade value anyway so maybe bought at 8k giving people that extra chance of winning the car I m hoping that dream cars read this and for the sake of spending a few hundred quid more get a professional in get the car looking absolutely spotless repairing absolutely everything on the car aesthetically and mechanically and give the car a full service and an MOT should it be due yes they give cash with cars but not always with the smaller prizes And that they aren t as high with their profit margins as surely to get more profit without screwing everyone over by increasing ticket entries is to do more cars which should sell out quicker at a smaller profit margin but have more cars going on the page to keep all buyers happy On a plus side I do think they have a large variety of cars which suit everyone and the website is generally easy to use albeit it has its moments
