AI Review Summary
Based on 139 reviews
The majority of reviews for Dutchbulbs are positive, with customers praising product quality, long-term reliability, and excellent customer service that often resolves issues. However, a significant number of negative reviews highlight problems with delivery timeliness, damaged goods in transit, and occasionally incorrect or low-quality items sent. The business maintains a strong reputation overall, but recurring courier issues and occasional fulfillment errors cause notable dissatisfaction. Many long-term customers continue to order despite isolated problems.

not impressed by the service this time some of the order was missing every time i telephoned i will given different messages it took over two months for the whole of the order to arrive it was unacceptable having to tell my customers that their order would be longer I have been ordering from Parkers for many years and might go elsewhere when doing the order this year

My late delphiniums
Unfortunately my last order for delphinium plugs was delivered in two parts due to insufficient availability Part 1 absolutely fine Part 2 Was very late and in very poor condition But I do regard this as a one off as i think Parker s is wonderful - normally

Disappointing flowering of Autumn and Spring bulbs
In summer 2021 and 2022 I had ordered Autumn crocus and Colchicums anticipating delivery from August ready for planting Unfortunately delivery of the bulbs was delayed I found that only 25 of the Colchicums grew foliage in the following spring and only 4 actually flowered this year - very disappointing Also I estimate that only 50 of the croci and Tenby daffodil bulbs and Fritillaria have actually flowered A proportion of this year s Tenby daffodil bulbs appear shrunken - I just hope they may be alright

It was only the auriculas
It was only the auriculas - 2 lots eventually and in both cases when they arrived the plants were disintegrating as they were soaking wet in the packaging with most of the leaves rotting Ist lot I salvaged 6 - 2nd lot 8 - the others completely rotted out roots and all I think you have an issue with your supplier-to you-to carrier to buyer which is clearly too long Auriculas are particularly delicate in some ways and do not take poor handling unlike other primulas

A rogue consignment or a failure of quality control Our small charity plants tens of
Our small charity plants tens of thousands of bulbs each year Previous consignments from J Parkers have been fine but the latest batch of narcissi included too high a percentage that were soft When we provided this feedback J Parker insisted our storage arrangements were to blame - although other daffs from two other supplier were kept under the same conditions and were fine We have long experience in this area planting for 15 years so more than disappointed on this occasion

Cheap and loads of choice but that s about it
Used Parkers for a few years now and had loads of problems Most of the stuff we ve had has been second-rate - maybe that s what you expect for the price But what s annoying is not only are the colours in their brochure either Photoshopped to exaggerate the colours or just plain wrong but they regularly send the wrong colour or even the wrong plant altogether Twice one time You only find out months later This has happened so often recently that we ve now sacked them off The only saving grace is that they don t argue and just refund the price But that s not the point

False economy
I may have been overly generous with the stars Only 5 of 20 plants ordered turned up - after a week in transit due to an issue in the warehouse Made them aware of the the issue and was told they would sort which they did but again with plants in transit for a week packed into an undersized box Unsurprisingly a couple of the small trees are looking really sad and probably won t make it I ve spent many hundreds with J Parker s over the years but first and last time going through the wholesale business False economy when plants turn up need life support

I ordered 2 variety of gooseberries and
I ordered 2 variety of gooseberries and later realised that one was not thornless I informed them that I did not want the one with thorns They continued with my order and delivered both varieties I took time and wrapped the ones with thorns back up and returned it the same day using Evri their delivery agent I was given a receipt for the return and they have not refunded me my money Very poor level of service I would not recommend using I have now received a refund thank you
