AVOID this SCAMMING company

I am experiencing the same problem as many others here who have written a review I was forced to use Ecovadis by our client and paid for them to create the report The questionnaire is not geared at all towards micro-sized companies we have just two persons in the company The report generated was useless we had no idea this was a subscription based service with auto-renewals as we only wanted a one-time single report They are now trying to collect money for a 2nd year subscription and refuse to acknowledge that it is not written clearly anywhere that this is a subscription Now they are threatening to take legal action via external collection agencies which will increase the costs

Inflexible bureaucratic useless

A customer insisted that we join EcoVadis We signed up and spent hours completing forms that were entirely inappropriate for a 10-person company eventually receiving a rating Their terms include an auto-renew In May 2024 I received their notice and tried to cancel the subscription However their website would not allow me to Perhaps I just did not find it but I spent 2 sessions clicking every button there was without success There is no phone number on the website There is no email address on the website I could not find a way to log a ticket even After receiving a dunning letter from their AP department I notified them that I had tried to cancel without success They would not believe me and insisted we pay threatening collections agencies This time I was able to get to a cancellation screen after clicking through 4 dense pages all extolling their benefits They have performed no services for the second year and refused to even pro rate the bill I would avoid this company in future

One of our customers forced our company to use this and complete the ecovadis platform in order to conduct business with them We are a small company of 40 people The questionaire was insanly lengthy and was irrevelant to what we supply When I finally completed it hours and hours later they wanted us to subscribe at 8550 00 Never again

Terrible company to deal with Missed the subscription cut off by 1 business day due to illness Explained situation company is not interested Now threatening to increase outstanding invoice and start legal proceedings Scheduled a telephone meeting no call They said they couldn t reach me on my number Laughable

Awful and inflexible

Awful and inflexible We were forced to sign up to their assessments by our client since then we have received no benefit from the 400 euro per annum for three years You cannot use the website to unsubscribe as apparently that button doesn t work I tried on two different browsers The platform is also terrible and doesn t work in theory it will give you multiple options to select but only one is capable of being selected If you want help with a query be prepared to wait 4 days for a reply

Zero customer service

Zero customer service there is a big language barrier the site is beyond glitchy and I now have to sit looking at the hanging site with a deadline hanging over me and no contact available Like the other reviews am required to use this by client

Ecovadis is a company soley set up for extorting money from small suppliers I am a manufacturers rep and am being held to the standards of a large chemical manufacturer I have tired to contact them for help in getting better scores but the only way to do this is thru further payments Every time I submit a answer it is rejected as they see it as only written for the purpose of the task they asked for
