Good solar install and remedial work

We have had our panels battery and inverter fitted for about 18 months now Recently I noticed a fault in the communication between the battery and inverter I spoke to Howard at Effective Home he ran some remote diagnostics and then when this couldn t resolve our issue asked our original installer Lee to come take a look Lee agreed there was a fault and after discussions with equipment manufacturer the battery has now been sent back and replaced to keep our system online in around a week from diagnosis of the issue to getting a new battery fitted Thanks to all involved in helping resolve this My only feedback for improvement is that whilst the customer support team are responsive on the phones it can take a couple of phonecalls to chase to get the company as a whole moving but each individual I spoke too was helpful and able to progress the issue for me Maybe a follow-up email just to confirm what was discussed has happened would help keep customers informed with developments without the need to phone regularly

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND EFFECTIVE HOMES I contacted Eon Ovo and British gas for quotes to supply and fit a solar panels and a battery system Eon and Ovo did not visit my house and only used the telephone and online systems to give me a quote British gas use Effective Home to carry out the work on their behalf I was telephoned by Alastair from Effective Homes he visited my house completed a survey and explained how the system worked I needed the battery to supply power to my house when the grid went off this happen about 3 to 4 times a year I decided to have the Tesla 13 5 kwh battery fitted as this supplies power when the grid is off The other company s batteries could not do this Two weeks later the scaffold was erected by PVF scaffolding The solar panels and battery were fitted by DJUKA electrics 10 days later They arrived at 7 45 am and everything was completed by 4 00 pm 10 solar panels and a 130 kg Tesla battery The following week the scaffold was removed The rubbish was collected by Any Junk I would like to add my thanks to Kirsty Barbara and Lynne for their help in organizing everything

I contacted Nicky Wilson at effective home asking for my installation invoice so I can pass this info on to SEG she replied saying I would have had this info I explained that during installation and paperwork my wife had passed away and I literally haven t a clue where the paperwork is I have since called effecthome twice and they say they will email the info over to me unfortunately I haven t received any paperwork Matter resolved I have now reviewed the information I requested Thank you customer services for your prompt actions from this review sent just earlier today

Excelent Service

After receiving an email from Hive I ticked the interested box on Solar power and within a matter of hours aI was chatting to someone a meeting setup and installation a matter of days only set back as we were away The scaffolders came and did their bit then the next day the installation team Steve Roofer and Courtney Electrician both were polite helpful and gave excellent service The only draw back was no sky for a week but then we didn t miss much

Professional service with helpful staff

I contacted Effective Home via the Hive website as I wanted to install solar PV panels and a battery Ian came to do a survey the following week and gave me some useful advice The work was booked in very quickly - 3 weeks after my initial contact The scaffolding was erected a couple of days before the installation On the day the engineers who came to install the panels and the battery were on time polite and friendly Dan and the team worked tirelessly to ensure that I was happy with the end product and helped me to understand the app Highly recommended

Almost click-and-collect Just a matter of days from registering my interest to the survey by Alastair then just a couple of weeks later the installation happened Boom My only niggle is that the Scaffolding is in direct line-of-sight between my satellite dish and the satellite so no Sky TV for a week until the scaffolding comes down but probably no avoiding that one Full marks to Zak and Ash and the other installers for an excellent friendly install with everything explained along the way Thanks to Lynne and the other people back at the office for the excellent communications and organisation
