I am disappointed with this purchase The binding posts are longer than the rubber feet I had to take my roto tool and cut off the screws on the bottom of the posts There was no way to attach the rubber feet to the bottom of the plate so I had to glue them on

The title of the item I ordered said it was a 50mm cable but buried further down the page it said it was 100mm I didn t notice the detail about 100mm so now I have 15 cables that are twice as long as I need

Defective item received Support is basically worthless and extremely painful to work with Order from another reseller or direct from the companies Updated to correct their errors in their response to save face They requested a photo of a board that doesn t power on after a 2 day wait I had already informed them I had tried the board with 2 computers and 3 cables I responded with the photo within 2 hours of the initial request after asking why a photo was needed because the photo is basically worthless as there is no verification that the board is even plugged in they don t require to see it plugged into the usb socket as well providing power After I responded with the photo I waited another 5 days for a response After stating I would be requesting a chargeback their next response was did you follow the tutorial on the Adafruit website They would do everything possible to NOT issue a refund Electromaker IS NOT an authorized reseller and Adafruit is looking into how they are selling their products without authorization so hopefully others won t have to deal with this in the future

You are penalized if your shiping and billing address is a forwarder I have been through the shipping FAQ and I must have missed this part Due to issues with vandalism mail theft and package theft I am forced to receive my mail and packages at a UPS store This address is perfectly fine and acceptable for everyone else utilities government major online retailers but Electromaker refused to ship a simple 30 item because my shipping and billing addresses are the same private mailbox address and listed as a forwarder Kinda guts the fun of exploring something new when shipping to your billing address is denied Edit October 05 2024Electromaker reached out to say we are sorry it is our policy not part of the shipping page so a surprise policy call us and we will see if something can be worked out The issue with this is I provided various alternatives during several email exchanges including shipping via UPS or FedEx to my house but was told my billing address at a forwarder would prevent any possible option to send a shipment to me During several email exchanges Electromaker made it clearly known they were not interested in a compromise and unless my billing address was not at the UPS store the forwarder and the shipment was not sent to the UPS store there is no path forward It is important to note I provided alternatives while Electromaker provided none and responded to everything with a No To think Electromaker leaves a response with call us and we will see if something can be worked out when several emails indicated nothing can be worked out and they had no interest in a path forward Electromaker may be doing something nice but customer focused they are not

I never received my order and it took two weeks for you to notify me that the shipping needed to be changed I was trying to replace a CPap battery and needed my equipment to work and could not keep on waiting Had to order elsewhere
