"I haven t taken the SIE exam yet"
I haven t taken the SIE exam yet but I had to come and review this course for the SIE exam I did think some of the sentence structure in the narrative parts of the course were sometimes badly written I sometimes read a section and said WHAT out loud because a concept was so poorly explained But the worst part of the course were the videos The one gal spoke well and was easy to understand but talked to the audience as if we were all five years old The other gal spoke too fast sometimes mumbled and lowered her voice to a whisper for no reason whatsoever Everyone in my office agrees with this These videos MUST be reshot with people wo can speak clearly and at a consistent volume without sounding condescending

The break down could ve been better Quizlet has the same information for free I just didn t see the point of paying for something that s available for free online

The readiness exam I would like to know how many people actually pass those on here We do better with the quizzes than in the readiness exam

"Good not Great"
The information in the chapters is detailed and helpful However all of the other tools such as the live trainings and on demand videos are all very remedial versions of the information that isn t as helpful to actually pass the quizzes I have also had a frustrating relationship with the auto logoff function I will be in the middle of reviewing a quiz and taking notes on the missed questions and then randomly get booted and lose out on a bunch of the correct answers to missed questions At the very least there should be a function to review missed questions on past tests or a way to adjust the time it takes to auto log off

The actual course work was helpful and the practice tests really pushed me over the edge allowing me to pass my licensing exam on the first try The downfall was definitely the live classes The instructor was very unwilling to work with the learners and did not allow ample time to cover materials And instead treated the class as one big deadline

Although I passed my SIE the first time after taking this course there were some issues with the course 1 star was deducted for inaccurate information in the content There have been some financial industry updates and ExamFX has failed to update some of its videos accordingly Another star was deducted for impossible tests If you graduate to the money-back guarantee test you will have studied too much of the wrong things But that is nearly impossible don t worry I failed their tests 5 times and passed the SIE Take the course to save money But don t worry about passing the tests

"Too cumbersome - try a different provider"
The study material is difficult to utilize you can t copy data points to make flashcards and the charts don t port over correctly into the PDF pages The tests are more difficult than necessary The guarantee is not really legitimate because in order to qualify you have to take so many pre-tests that it becomes unreasonable

I passed all the quizzes and the pre exams with 80 and failed the guarantee and failed the final exam At first i felt it didn t prepare me for the final exam and now realize i needed to understand the concept rather than the structure of the question

"The course is great BUT"
The site is great I did well and went on to try for my state test However I struggle with anxiety in testing situations and have attempted my test 3 times and unfortunately failed by a few points each time I called Exam FX to ask if they could extend the course for additional studying My thought process is this if I have 180 days available to take the state test after the certificates have been received why is the course only available for 60 days to me Shouldn t one be allowed to 180 days to us the course which correlates with the time you can take the state test Well I was told no I need to repurchase the course No extension provided That was truly disappointing but I won t give up trying to take this test
