They don t make glasses in the time promised
Awful But they also have a fraudulent review process through reviews io explained at end I buy a lot of stuff online and I have purchased glasses from other companies I have a frame of reference for how good a company can be EZContacts is horrible I ordered glasses on September 14 2021 It said it would take 2-3 to to complete the order and I paid for quicker shipping On September 24 I went online to find out if they had been shipped and they had not According to the site they had not even been started At that time I saw a notice that said they closed for the Jewish holiday and would be out of the office until September 29 I tried to call customer service thinking a large company would have someone to answer during such an extended absence They did not I used the contact form to cancel I didn t get a word back I then sent an email stating I wanted to cancel my order Joel responded and just said call back on September 30 I sent another contact form message to cancel asap On October 5 having not heard back from them I did an online chat I told her I had cancelled and not received an acknowledgement She then said they just finished making the glasses I told her the dates I cancelled and don t know why they would make them and I said I just wanted my money back She said that she would issue a refund A couple of days later I checked my account to see if my funds had been returned Instead I say that on October 5 when I did the chat that was the day they first took the money More than a week after I asked to cancel It is now October 25 and I still do not have my refund I did another chat and she said there was a delay in processing my refund and I would get it within 3-5 days It has been five days and still no money I will now have to waste more time with them She tried to tell me that holiday was online It might have been but not in a visible way that I would have seen it when i ordered or paid More importantly the stated processing time meant that they should have been ready to ship before their vacation began And WHO closes for more than 10 days in 2021 When someone needs glasses they may not have more than a month to wait for a new pair Initially I ordered from them because I had gotten a new pair from glassesusa They were too big and didn t have a smaller frame Ezcontact did I thought they would fulfill the order as stated Instead during that time that I was able to get another pair from glassesusa made sent and received before even getting my refund from ezcontacts Wish I had never wasted my time with them Regarding their reviews On an email from Joel at Ezcontacts he had an image showing their 4 5 starts at reviews io I went to post a review and noticed that when you search for ezcontacts reviews io has two companies So i went back and looked at Joel s email It had the name ezcontactsusa under his name I hit that and entered a review I noticed that ezcontactsusa didn t have a 4 5 rating as pictured but instead a 2 9 Once completed it took me to another screen It said to verify my review I needed to do so through Facebook messenger or by email I did get an email asking me to confirm my order number which I did and once I hit submit it wouldn t allow my negative review I then went and looked at ezcontact They had the 4 9 rating Joel reference I then checked to see if ezcontact and ezcontactsusa were they same company They are I tried to leave my negative review there but when I tried it said you can only leave a review if you were invited Apparently if you complain they tell you they are ezcontactsusa If you have a good experience they invite you to review them under ezcontacts what a fraud

Avoid EZCONTACTS keep shopping
I wish I had read these reviews before I ordered glasses from this company Here are the details Jan 25 2022 - Ordered frames with prescription lensesFeb 15 2022 - Finally received glasses only after I notified the company via chat that I hadn t received them Glasses arrived with no prescription on the lenses even though I entered the prescription info when I ordered them Again via chat I notified them of the prescription issue I was advised to return the glasses no return label was provided Feb 17 2022 - Shipped glasses back to them via USPS Mailing cost was 10 15 Feb 22 2022 - They received the returned glasses Mar 2 2022 - After hearing nothing and not receiving any kind of confirmation that they received the returned glasses I again contact them via chat I was told by Cynthia that my return hadn t been processed yet and to give it a few more days I told her no because I had waited long enough already and if I didn t hear something by end of day I would cancel the order the next day She assured me that I would hear something from them Of course I didn t hear anything Mar 3 2022 - Once again I contacted them via chat because when I called I was put on hold and no one picked up I told Cynthia via chat to cancel the order and issue an immediate refund I also asked for a reimbursement of my shipping cost 10 15 She said they would not do that and offered a 5 store credit which I declined as I have no intention of doing business with EZCONTACTS ever again So there you have it This whole ordeal was a complete joke and I will never refer anyone to this business Edit March 19 2022 I was later contacted by this company via email They agreed to refund the 10 15 I spend on shipping after all

This has been the worst experience
This has been the worst experience ever I ordered a pair of sunglasses on July 5th To date I have not received anything I have called weekly and keep getting the run around I am beyond pissed and upset I thought this was a good company to order from but I was wrong

Still waiting for glasses
I ordered a pair of prescription glasses for my son on 1 2 18 On 1 17 18 I emailed them for an update and was told they were ready to ship They finally showed up on 1 24 18 However they were the frames only without the prescription lenses I called them and got an RMA number and a return shipping label My son returned them the following day 1 25 and we then waited It is now Feb 23rd and still no glasses I called them again and was told they were almost ready to be shipped I would never do business with them again

Do not buy any of the add on these lenses It will start to de-laminate and scratch on the inside Then they will not honor their warranty and try and get another 125 00 Please do not use this company for you re own good They have terrible customer service

TOTAL FRAUD SCAM THEY TOOK MY MONEY IMMEDIATELY LEGIT COMPANIES CAN ONLY TAKE PAYMENT ONCE THEY VE SHIPPED THEN THEY INFORMED ME THAT THEY ACTUALLY DIDN T HAVE THE ITEMS I ORDERED THAT WERE IN STOCK AT THAT TIME SUDDENLY AFTER MY ORDER THEY WEREN T IN STOCK ANY MROE AND ID HAVE TO WAIT 2 WEEKS YET MY MONEY WAS ALREADY GONE I IMMEDIATELY REQUESTED THE ORDER BE CANCELED BUT RECEIVED NO RESPONSE AND NO REFUND I SENT MANY MORE REQUESTS OVER THE NEXT COUPLE WKS AND STILL NO RESPONSE AND NO REFUND TOTAL FRAUD WHO WAS OBVIOUSLY TRYING TO STEAL MY MONEY LUCKILY I WAS ABLE TO RECOVER IT FROM A COMPANY WHO ALSO SAW THEM AS A FRAUD BUT THEN- TO MAKE THIS EVEN BETTER- ONCE MY MONEY WAS RECOVERED THEN THEY STARTED HARASSING ME AND TRYING TO MAKE ME SEND THEM THE MONEY BACK- FOR NO REASON AND NO ITEMS CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS I DON T KNOW HOW THEY ARE STILL ALLOWED TO OPERATE BUT IT IS HARD TO MONITOR THE WHOLE INTERNET BOTTOM LINE- DO NOT GIVE THIS FRAUD ANY OF YOUR MONEY YOU PROBABLY WONT GET IT BACK

I had to cancel my order they asked me to wait 3 weeks without any notification until I called and asked They said the order was back-ordered while the promised shipping time is 5-7 days
