Dissatisfied customer
I rented a bungalow at 9 Carr Lane Middleton LA3 3JQ We moved in 24 10 2022 Moved out 23 04 2024 From the very begining of our rental we complained about the mould in the utility room Which is a single brick construction with NO insulation We stayed for 18 months and nothing was ever done to solve the problem We have now vacated and the landlord is expecting me to pay to get rid of the mould Farrell Heyworth are very bias in favour of the landlord They should have known that a single wall room without insulation is not suitable to use as a utility room But they never pursued the landlord to rectify the problem

Crooks thieves and liers
As with all the other bad reviews I can confirm this estate agents is a bunch of crooks I was supposed to rent a property on Victoria Road in St annes last week my name is David after taking a key deposit off me to proceed and telling me I d been approved days later I get told that now I havnt been approved and they will NOT return my deposit of 184 I am taking legal action but be warned stay clear of these crooks they will Rob you blind Also they do NOT return calls and very rude at least Dick Turpin wore a mask DO NOT give them any money you will loose it

AWFUL COMPANY AND RUDE STAFFTRIED SCAMMING ME OF MY FULL DEPOSIT I GOT IN TOUCH WITH MY DEPOSIT HOLDING COMPANY TDS THEY REVIEWED MY CASE AND SIDED WITH ME RESULTING IN ME GETTING ALMOST ALL OF MY DEPOSIT BACK HOW IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN INCOMPETENT STAFF RARELY RESPONDED TO MY EMAILS SPOKE TO ME HORRIFICALLY OVER THE PHONE I AM NOT SURPRISED THAT YOU MAINLY HAVE NEGATIVE REVIEWS

Tried to get a physical viewing for a property in Poulton only to be told I need to supply evidence of a mortgage and evidence of a deposit to save time waster inquiries A mortgage will depend on whether we have seen and want the property guys I m not obliged to hand over financial details to you and you have lost a genuine buyer Maybe re-think your policy for sales

Avoid at all costs
Avoid at all costs Cost us 150 to get out of a contract they advertised our property incorrectly and after 4 phone calls almost got it right Had to sack them off as the customer service is non existent Putting it up with another agent who actually wants to sell our property

All I will say is stay well clear of the Preston Branch totally shocking service One viewing in 5 months with total lack of feedback and they have the audacity to bill me for digital viewing when I ve taken my property of the market with them which by the way wasn t fully explained I was told NO SALE NO FEE

Given a bad reference to new landlord
Given a bad reference to new landlord for complaining about various issues including sleeping on a mattress on the floor for two months and a boiler leaking gas they also tried to charge illegal fees Do not use these agents they are cruel thugs I have been in tears I have supported many clients as a housing adviser and I have never seen a worse tenancy than the one I have had They lied and denied and made several false accusations How they have treated me and other tenants I know is disgraceful and it has all been taken to their ombudsman now The will never fall on their sword stubborn arrogant and cruel

I would give no stars if possible
I would give no stars if possible I would not buy or sell through farrell heyworth ever again I sold a property through the Cleveleys branch and it s been a terrible experience I know some of it wasn t their fault as such but communication was shockingly bad Even dealing with the branch manager for me absolutely no where An empty house that had no chain and an investment buyer took 6 months Their fees are also way over what other estate agents charge and so I expected much better service Avoid avoid avoid

This is the worst letting agent on earth
This is the worst estate agent letting agent the world has ever seen the I am a tenant the repeatedly fail to fix problems i have been left without heating or hot water for 4 weeks now over Christmas in temperatures of minus 10 degrees c despite over 50 calls to get them to find a contractor to fix it If i could deal directly with the landlord I would but cant If I could give them a minus 10 star review to mirror the temperatures i ve been left in I would

Absolutely dreadful not apply
Absolutely dreadful service n aftercare after I became a tennet there was no customer care and no help or support and it took ages to fix every problem n I would never use them again They took 3 months to sort out blinds n over 8 months to solve a little damp issue I advise people to stay away
