Today I flew Porter from Toronto Pearson airport to Orlando The flight left 26 minutes late without an explanation or apology The flight itself was fine and they even provided a lunchbox which is a rarity these days Attendants were friendly But it quickly went downhill from there When I arrived at the Orlando airport my baggage golf bag was nowhere to be found I get it all airlines misplace baggage from time to time so not great but it is an industry problem But where this airline fell down was in customer service There was not a Porter person to be found in the baggage area and even in the passenger check-in area - no one to help In fact a helpful JetBlue agent paged to have a Porter representative come to the carousel to provide customer assistance and nobody showed up A call to the customer support line resulted in a message suggesting a five hour wait Totally unacceptable The only remedy seems to be an online formAn airline cannot skimp on costs to the customers detriment This is not a recipe to stay in business I would stay away from this airline if you have any checked in baggage

They totally obliterated my baggage The rep at the airport said I had to call a phone number on the phone they said I had to file a ticket on the website I did all of that and have heard nothing I ve been following up with them but I ve heard nothing I think they just try to wear you down with attrition and make life hard for you As you can imagine I had to take a taxi instead of carrying a suitcase in my arms Disappointing not just to destroy my bag but then to take no interest in making it right Cynical disgusting behavior worthy only of contempt and disdain honestly

Flight PD356 departure 1 25pm Calgary to Toronto on Aug 30 scheduled boarding time 12 55pm we arrived at gate 1 08pm and was told gate was closed because the pilot decided to leave earlier and didnt let us on the flight We had to purchase tickets for the next flight at 169 50 per ticket Never had such ridiculous experience How can they leave us without calling us

porterairlines on January 07 for toronto to Montreal After check in i got my boarding passes then they told me that I can t take that flight because of some confusion with my name But my luggage was in that flight which is still missing Very disappointed with porter airlines

worst customer service ever
Flight was delayed delayed delayed then cancelled Rebooked to the next day where I went through the same ordeal once again once again had to spend a night in an airport hotel Did not get hotel voucher or meal voucher had to pay for everything myself Ended up spending 2 full days in Newark airport airport hotels Porter Airlines have still not reimbursed my expenses even though it s been more than a month since I reported it So incredibly unfair to not reimburse people when they have cost that are because of your failure to operate Probably the worst airline I ve ever travelled with except Ryanair

Incredibly rude to the point of
Incredibly rude to the point of harassment from customer service The flight is generally fine but the airports and lounges are worse every year the flights are often delayed and cancelled Would recommend air Canada over porter ANY day which is really saying something

First time last time
Flight Porter 517 Jan 1 2024 Ottawa Fort Lauderdale Sked dep time 16h45 We boarded at 16h15 We sat in the aircraft till 18h00 Conflicting news from the captain and flight attendants 20 people boarded late I don t recall flights waiting for me when I was late We arrived in FLL one hour late Return flight 518 to YOW on the 11th flight was late coming in late departing late arriving in YOW Waited for luggage 30 minutes NEVER AGAIN

Lost luggage and no response
Had two Porter flights on Jan 6 2024 to Portugal and my bag is still in Ottawa and cannot connect to them with any number they provide and GroundForce Portugal have requested the delivery of my bag and flight many times multiple times but no response Family in Canada called Porter 3 times and they were not helpful They do not care about their lost baggage Avoid at all costs

First Flight on Handwritten Ticket Airlines
Was excited to take porter on a recommendation of a friend It was my first flight and I arrived to a long airport line and a couple of LAX workers at the counter They said the system is down and they are waiting for IT to fix it After about 1 5 to 2 hours of waiting and giving no updates or explanation other than that the internet was down for them nobody else they finally said they will start giving hand written luggage and boarding passes So we waited for another 2 hours while they hand wrote hundreds of boarding passes and luggage tags and talked to someone on their personal cell phones to verify that we were on the flight and taking photos with personal cell phones of the boarding passes These were LAX workers nobody from Porter came down The we got upstairs and there was another line of people waiting for hand written boarding passes who didn t have to check bags Then we waited for them to take luggage off the plane for folks who couldn t board because of visa issues I guess they only found out later because we were handwriting tickets like 1950 I thought they had unlimited snacks and drinks but I must have confused them with jet blue I was told I could only have one cookie because it was a full flight You would think not having time to get food at the airport and waiting to get out-of the departures area for 4 hours they would give you an extra cookie because we had to get right in the next line after standing for 4 hours but nope The attendant said it was because it was a full flight That s funny because it wasn t a full flight because of all the people they had denied boarding and even my next seat was empty I m so grateful that my next seat was empty because the leg room was actually worse than westjet or aircanada Who could imagine that was possible I m a big guy but the seat was right in my knee and that doesn t happen on the other carriers So almost 2 5 hour delay from departure 4 hours standing in lines Seat up to my chin and no extra cookie The only good thing about this flight was that I could write this review with the free wifi without taking time from my day Save yourself Take something else March 26th 2024 if you want to check the delay

Most bogus airline I have ever experienced Came to drop off my son to a porter flight going from Edmonton to Toronto Flight got canceled due to some tecnical problem No feedback on next service checked in baggage and compensation for hours Had to bring him back home yesterday Same thing happening today again Their airline license should be terminated
