Long lead time poor correspondence

I ordered a table on 8 November because the website hung at payment and I didn t get a email confirmation I called the store the next day to check they had the order I was advised the order would be delivered WC 23 November On 22 December after many calls to the store it was clear the table was not arriving until end January The order was cancelled and refunded I ordered the same table from LOOK AGAIN on 22 December and it arrived on 24 December My frustration is not just with the lead time but with the lack of correspondence from furniture direct I won t order again

Get your act together and communicate with your customers

I seem to remember that I was about to chase up this Company as they had gone well over the timescale provided when the order was placed and full payment was taken up front There was no communication from this company advising about dispatch of the two headboards I just arrived home one day to find them propped up against my wall with the outer protective packaging damaged Come on Furniture Direct get your act together and communicate with your customers

Furniture was great poor delivery experience

Furniture was great Love it It s a pity the delivery drivers refused to deliver the furniture to the appropriate bedroom upstairs These items were extremely heavy They both sprightly got the items out the truck and easily placed them in our hall We even offered them extra cash to move the items upstairs We had to dismantle the assembled furniture sadly to move it

Absolutely diabolical service

Absolutely diabolical service Stated ready assembled which is why we bought the wardrobes as myself and wife are both disabled The doors were separate and parts from one of the wardrobes were missing the supplier insisted they d been sent out twice we didn t receive them We d to get someone in to unpack them and take away all the packaging and put the doors on He them had to come back when the parts did arrive to put the other doors on One side of the wardrobe is bowed When we asked the company to pick them up and take them back and give us a full refund they said they couldn t do it as they were large pieces of furniture They offered 50 compensation which does not cover the cost we ve had to pay to get them sorted 6 weeks of nothing but aggro

Week 4 of waiting for any contact from the company regarding a delivery

I purchased the item 4 weeks ago with the expectation of delivery in 2-3 weeks Since the day of purchase I have had no contact from the company at all Still waiting

AVOID THIS COMPANY

AVOID THIS COMPANY Very late delivery and then sent damaged goods When queried - with photo evidence - we were accused of damaging the item ourselves GET YOUR ITEMS FROM SOMEWHERE ELSE WOULD DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE

Horrendous service poor quality items

I wish I had read reviews beforehand Customer service is horrendous Ordered a sideboard didn t receive an order confirmation had to call to request an email be sent to me The sideboard arrived 4 weeks later which was a week late and had dents and scratches on it Requested a replacement and was told had to wait another 3 weeks for it which is completely unacceptable When speaking to customer service was shocked to discover I was speaking to the actual manager Non apologetic very matter of fact Never again

Bad customer experience

I think it s awful that you are not responding to a lady that didn t get the feet for her sofa and have now blocked her from messaging on Facebook she has had an awful time recently with a sick baby and you can t even provide a good customer experience for something she has worked hard to pay for I certianly wont buy from you or recommend any of my 10 000 followers to buy from you Do the right thing and send what s missing from her order

Really bad service

I ordered a desk chest of drawers in March 2021 I finally received my order on 6th May after various emails chasing my order My order was delivered to a neighbour without consent despite me stipulating that I was not going to be in on the date they provided for delivery I gave them a choice of dates times when available My neighbour was unhappy especially when the men delivering the items tried to enter her house without PPE whilst in lockdown The desk I purchased was faulty despite sending further emails requesting a replacement refund they have not responded I have spent over 300 with this company I am disgusted with their service will not use them again

No response to emails issue resolution yet

I received a bed frame that was poor quality for the price and also arrived scratched and one part that was cracked The laminate finish of the bed side table was also poor It s been 2 weeks since I ve sent a request for the replacement parts and I have yet to even receive a response or acknowledgement that my issue is being looked into Item was poor quality but the lack of response to the issue is the most concerning I ve sent a follow up email 10 days later still no response
