Still waiting

Phoned as soon as I received my drawers to say they were damaged took photos of the damage was told they would phone me they didn t I phoned them this is over 5 weeks ago and I am still waiting damaged drawers are in the garage no drawers in the bedroom but I paid for them on the same day I ordered them no one has once said sorry

Misleading information

I ordered the urban chic medium mirror advertised on the website a month ago I was later contacted and refunded the money as it was out of stock and I was pleased with the efficiency of this However the mirror has continued to be advertised as available on their website which is very misleading and disappointing

Very bad service but very good sofa

1 month later our sofa arrived after being given a 10 day lead time Every time I rang I was told a different story The customer service was atrocious staff were rude and frankly didn t care On the flip side of this the sofa looks amazing and is great value for money So if you want a cheap sofa that s good quality but you are not in a rush then go for it Perseverance is key

Please review your communications with customers

I ordered a bed for my daughter s birthday from the Furniture Direct UK website Their website stated the bed was in stock but that the delivery time would be 4-5 weeks I figured they d just order it in from their supplier rather than holding every single item in stock so OK - that worked for me and I place the order 4-5 weeks and my daughter s birthday came and went and the promised communication about delivery didn t materialise I emailed three times one of their email addresses doesn t even work and sent a message via their facebook page all of which were ignored Now almost 6 weeks later I was extremely concerned I d been scammed and lost the almost 300 I d spent on the none-existent bed My husband phoned them and someone eventually answered who told him the delivery would now be at the end of May or we could have a full refund - and also that he d emailed me they hadn t We accepted the refund and this was issued and thankfully has gone through fine I didn t mind a long wait for the product so long as it was actually going to arrive and we were kept updated But why advertise items when they re not at all likely to be able to meet the already long delivery times The order would have sat there on their system for over 5 weeks - did no-one think to chase it up or communicate with me Had I received any sort of communication from the company rather than me having to chase them up I would have been far more likely to keep the order because it engenders trust - instead they ve lost out on an order and I ve wasted over a month waiting on an item that was never going to arrive Such a waste of everyone s time and energy that could have been easily solved if they just checked their emails I d really wanted to support a small UK company by buying from them rather than one of the large chains but the whole experience was a disappointment I am also an online retailer and I d always welcome genuine feedback even if it isn t good as it s an opportunity to work on running my business better please think of this as constructive criticism and an opportunity to rethink how you communicate with your customers

Bit dodgy

Nice product but arrived with a large crack and took 8-weeks to arrive despite being advertised as in stock

Poor communication and lead times

When I ordered a bed in February the website showed delivery at the end of March I hadn t heard anything by then so I phoned the store for an update but they didn t really know and were quite vague I was eventually told delivery is expected in May no idea when in those 30 days As a minimum I would have expected the store to keep me informed of any updates particular delays as other stores do I sincerely hope the bed arrives as it has been paid for

Poor communication

Great range of furniture but poor customer communication which when you re buying a quality range is a tad disappointing
