The product was well packed and in perfect condition However the company ignore my live chat messages and emails As this was a new company I was dealing with I was concerned about their reliability We waited for the allocated delivery expected any time p m on the Saturday Eventually we had a late call from the driver who said he couldn t make it as they were running behind Then when I complained having got rid of my old desk I now had none he added they had broken down I cancelled my order by live chat and email This was ignored and when I phoned I was told they had sent it - making use of a courier To cut a very long story short we received the desk 10 00 p m on the Tuesday night It seemed the courier team had been delivering from early a m to late night I think this company distribution policy is their Achilles heel and they really need to address this to get 5 stars

Happy with the website and delivery The sideboard arrived on time However the box it was delivered in stank and so did the sideboard I can t get the smell out of sideboard so I can t store food in it which was its purpose So disappointed in the product as the mango wood has not been cured varnished inside the sideboard Hence dedicted 2 stars for quality of product

Turned out the table ordered was not in stock despite indications to the contrary But not sure we d have been told had I not chased the item The table was a present for my parents so disappointed that from ordering to delivery was the best part of two months I was pleased that the delivery guys that eventually brought the table carried it into my parents home they are elderly and would have struggled with it so thanks SGK Parents finally got to enjoy what is a very well made and value for money product

Items seem good value for money and coffee table was very easy to assemlbe However I ordered it July and it stated it may not be delivered until September but I had to chase up with 3 emails to finally get it in October Only order if youre not in a rush

My order arrived in the timeframe expected but the wrong item was delivered so rather than having the hassle of returning it when it was all unwrapped we decided to keep it Furniture Direct were kind enough to compensate a small refund

I have got to say I love my new sofa the delivery driver was very polite I would like to thank him again Unfortunately customer service receptionists attitude towards me was a disgrace they do need to learn their people skills They could do with sorting out time slots for deliveries as they don t have any

Excessive charge for assembly of a dressing table which I m pretty sure was pre assembled by factory Charge of assembly also was applied to a mirror but it was not put up on the wall because of the boss saying so Shouldn t be charged for a service not delivered The furniture was good though

Ordered 2 living room chairs and paid Got an email later to tell me chairs weren t in stock another site I had looked at previously had informed me of this but the new site I visited suggested they were in stock and I ordered and money would be refunded which took some time It s amazing how quickly money leaves one s account but doesn t return so quickly I was disappointed

When the tables finally arrived almost a month delay in delivery Tables are very good quality purchased for a day centre they were not fit for purpose on arrival and when asked to return was told there would be a 340 charge which was disappointing so we have had to adapt table legs to suit our clients Tables are solid oak and of high quality would recommend a stain if purchasing to protect table tops

Very comfy sofas that we had seen elsewhere and tried out for size Local distributor couldn t or wouldn t match Furniture Direct s price but did offer free delivery free removal of old sofas and longer warranty plus packaging removal so it was a very close call as to where we purchased FD were able to deliver quicker than initially anticipated but that meant very short notice literally a couple of days which made a mad dash getting guys in to remove the old sofas in time Delivered carefully to the room of choice but wouldn t take all the packaging so had to then make a run to the recycling centre Cannot fault the pricing but in retrospect would have been much easier to use local trader even if a few pounds more
