Detail are not cared for with Great Jones The properties themselves are great

The was a lot of issues before moving in that required us to call in several times to our move in coordinator to check on the matter to find out if we were even able to move in When we would call in it was super impersonal and we felt that our case wasn t being taken care of Great Jones knowledge of the properties they manage is very poor They didn t know that the property had gas and we needed our line re-dug a few days after move in meaning for the first 5 days were lived there we didn t have hot water or a stove to cook on Our contractor had the best service of all the people involved and he had said that he would try to get certain things fixed around the house before we moved in Everything was fixed except for the black mold on our back porch that sat there for 3-week before it was touched and taken care of Those are some issues that should have been 1 fixed before the house went on the market or 2 fixed in the 3-week span of time when we made the commitment to rent There have been several other issues involved that could have been caught if the property was properly taken care of before we moved in like the leaky sink the stuffed up dryer vent the doors could have had the same key because we were not provided with the back key which required me to buy new hardware and install it so we can access from the back the address wasn t listed properly and still isn t clear because of our split property situation and the windows still don t all shut and the work around with the furnace that won t heat our house properly with the urgency that Great Jones exhibits our furnace will be fixed just in time for the Florida summer These are just a few of the things that could have been caught before we moved in and no one was personal enough to notice these things until the contractor inspected the house and we are required to stay home from work for myriads of maintenance people that come in now

Worse than I could ever have imagined

Edit The fact that Great Jones replied to this over two years later says everything that needs to be said really Their website claims Honest Pricing No Secrets We had a tenant move out They said that there was a 200 charge to cover administrative work when the tenant moved out We said that it wasn t in the contract They said that they changed the contract whenever they wanted The tenant did a good job cleaning but had agreed to pay for some things They said that they were keeping the full security deposit but they were just keeping it we needed to pay out of pocket for all the repairs Their website claims No More Chasing Your Manager All you have to do is call their phone number go through 3 different menus talk to an answering service they will transfer you to the local office where you go through 2 more menus then talk to another answering service who will give your property manager a message We had a contractor working there a Great Jones employee went into the property and took personal possessions of the contractor removed them from the property without authorization or informing us They damaged them irreparably before returning them They will take no responsibility or even cooperate with the police investigation

We are not happy with the property

We are not happy with the property management group at this point I have been trying to reach them for a week and no one has called me back

Terrible customer service No communication to the customer about the process But Once the process is finally started they are fantastic

I ve been waiting for information about a property my husband And i submitted an application for Keep calling the 866 number and no one is picking up So annoying and frustrating

Horrible Leasing Process

My experience thus far has been horrible The application process was very easy they also have really nice homes Great Jones really needs to reconsider their application process I applied for a home and have to wait 24-48 hours after approval for someone to reach out with the next steps During this time someone could very well be further along the process than me causing me to lose the home I wanted most I have called called called emailed likes crazy Only to be told everytime someone will call me back within 5-10 minutes I still have yet to receive a call

I thought since it was a new

I thought since it was a new construction that it would of been a smooth process BUT HAS BEEN FAR FROM IT Prior to move in we did a walk through where everything was documents for future purposes Move in date nothing was fixed No fridge No microwave No hot water have been given the run around ever since Managers cancel your request without actually fulfilling the order

They were very responsive to a plumbing they don t care

They were very responsive to a plumbing issue However we have lived in the home for a month with no access to the clubhouse pool gym or any amenities supposedly provided We have reached out many times trying to get resolution Nothing Also our pool timer doesn t work to turn off and on the pump Several requests and still no resolution

Close to impossible to make sense of

Close to impossible to make sense of the owner portal Just trying to find the balance in my account and justify that balance via transactions is very very difficult An owner s job should be made easier by the statements-not harder The quantity of useless material could be lessened by a simple statement each month that shows income expenses balances and disbursements for each unit I m still looking after 1 hour
