We have used GROW for two years now We have liked it especially the strong Biblical content Most of the activities have been good for our kids I am disappointed that there have not been more resources for online lessons The games are all designed for in person Even when we go back we won t be able to share materials so many of the games won t work

I think your curriculum is great I have left out a couple i e 1 kings story of Solomon and the baby You you do a wonderful job with your scope and sequence Your themes are fun and imaginative We have enjoyed setting up the themes too I wrote our church curriuculum for six years and I wanted something that sparked their interest and you checked the boxes I will say that I have had to change the order on some things for the calendar year to make sure that it was the same thing that was going on with our church The wisemen do come a bit later Pentecost etc That is frustrating for me and takes time I think also that this is a little shy on crafts experiences that hit the point of the lesson It doesn t necessarily have to be something that they take home but something that they can do hands on for those learners that are not driven by audible or visual learning Most learners at this age are kinesthetic and need that hands on experience to remember what they have learned I do Love your Facebook page It offers great ideas and it is invaluable for all of us Whether we are seasoned or brand new that is a great place to learn and share ideas Good job Thank you Grow

I think the breadth of materials is excellent I appreciate the programming materials and cool countdowns etc that make my online content look professional The first lesson Blast Week 1 elementary has lots of games and activities but I feel the Bible content is weak and superficial I can augment that but hope it will improve

Been using Grow for several years and absolutely love it

The small group guides game suggestions and worship song suggestions are great The curriculum lessons themselves are good There are many times I have found that the curriculum seems overly cheesy or not deep enough and I have to change axe tweak it

I really like this curriculum I really appreciate how much they give you and how intentional they are with making sure we are engaging students They sure do give me everything I and my team need to be an awesome place for our students to call home I will say that while they have been stellar in giving games events and content that is engaging there seems to be a lack in biblical application Sometimes they can focus a teaching lesson primarily on what is in it for the student rather than how does this scripture and biblical truth transform my life into the likeness of Christ So while I want the engaging ideas I would like to see some more biblical truth explained and applied for everyday life

There are many groups out there but Grow is one of the best in my opinion They recognize that there is no one size fits all youth ministry So their flexibility and variety is so helpful Having the option to plan a strategic year curriculum check ins and games is unique to anything on the market The new Grow Games app maybe the best thing they ve done yet Thanks Grow

Teaching videos need work on volume Opening closing are too loud The guy is louder than Caxsie she s hard to hear when you turn it up everything else is way too loud We are in COVID mode in person which makes it difficult for the video we re close to the sanctuary have had noise complaints so we not doing teaching videos at this time So far it s my only complaint with the cutticulum

I love the curriculum because it is very customizable However for younger children there are not images associated with the lessons and I feel like they need that The good thing is that I can add images that relate to the urban youth The bad side is that it s on me to find these images weekly I appreciate the diversity of having an African American woman presenting the sign language Scriptures However I usually change the music to make it more urban I m not crazy about the video lessons Maybe kids talking to kids would be better I love the Student material overall I do add my own music and I like the one min Sermons Overall I love the marketing materials but would love a video on how to use things like the images and colors when preparing presentations Thank you

I REALLY like this curriculum I think it engages the children and volunteers wonderfully Where I am having a bit of trouble is helping our volunteers tie the games back into the story and giving those who haven t taught Sunday School before that little extra emphasis on the story and how to explain it to the children I also wish they had a version for those who Just have a Sunday School hour and do not have a children s worship I m able to use some of it for other things but right now we aren t having a mid-week program so some of the Sunday curricula doesn t get used Overall though I really enjoy using this curriculum I would definitely recommend this to anyone
