This company is the worst in its class and they do not care about its own paying customers They have refused to help me with a query that I raised with them after signing up 5 days ago The only part of their business that works is the piece that takes your money and that part works too well because they will bill you twice in one day but they will not help you resolve errors their system has I am so frustrated and disappointed I could do backflips

Since 2017 I ve utilized this platform for hiring purposes investing significant sums Despite this history my attempts to withdraw funds from my Guru Cash account have been fruitless for the past week The balance in this account doesn t stem from platform earnings but rather from my personal deposits originating from my US bank account However they ve inexplicably removed my linked US bank account and subsequent attempts to re-add it have been plagued by errors Despite reaching out through their live chat and numerous emails my inquiries have gone unanswered Instead I ve received automated closure notifications for my support tickets They re unwilling to reimburse my funds to the original bank account from which they were debited Despite my patience and persistence they ve consistently ignored my attempts at communication I feel compelled to expose their practices and caution others against working with this platform It s become evident that they neglect their longstanding clients displaying a blatant disregard for customer care I possess evidence in the form of emails to support my claims and will make them available as needed Giving them the lowest possible rating seems appropriate given their lack of regard for client concerns This conduct is shameful

Gave my horrible vendor a good review in my name over my objections

Buried in the contract somewhere is a clause if you take too long to rate a vendor Guru basically falsifies a good rating from you I was trying to nurse a terrible vendor through getting me some value and silently passed the deadline which eliminated all leverage to motivate him and a sorely misleading review for future customers He seemed quite aware of how to game this system so I suspect many vendors with good ratings are terrible I lost 5 000

It s a scam for both freelancers and project job posters For freelancers they send you fake projects on which you can bid that lead towards nothing and then they send you fake projects that require you to pay membership projects that would lead towards nothing as they re fake I can tell as I ve worked for a very long time as a freelancer completed 100s of projects on ScriptLance RAC vWorker etc Same is on the side of project posters they ask you to pay membership to reach more freelancers and they initially hide everyone from you so you can t really reach anyone It s shadowbanning and scam 101

Wannabe experts

I put up an advertisement for a role which they decided to police and refuse to post because they in incorrectly assumed that I was looking for a someone to do school work even though I as very clear that it was for curriculum design It is also not incorrect to have someone assist in writing papers as long as you follow your institutions guidelines Which generally means you can have some edit your work but you cannot have someone do your research findings recommendations etc They really need to just act like a job site instead of trying to police everyone on areas they know little about Avoid- if I could give a lower mark and leave a comment I would
