This is the story of what happened after I bought my ticket I had purchased 2 tickets and needed to cancel one of the two tickets however both tickets have been canceled Now I have a packed suitcase and no ticket or any details I also can t get anyone on the phone and am told I need to send an email and wait for the agent to call me I have sent two emails but no one has called me or there is no way for me to talk to anyone Also only flights going to my destination have been canceled not the one s coming back Go figure Additionally I had connecting flights which can t be canceled and that will cost me money

My tickets were not confirmed and gurufare told we have to cancel the booking and refund the amount instead of refunding my money my account was charged twice and now they are not refunding my money Customer service is not able to see the charge my bank account is showing charged twice instead of refunding the money

I tried booking a flight through the gurufare website I was contacted by a representative via phone that my requested flight was not available and they sent me an alternative flight different airline and time which I selected After a little research my desired flight was actually still available They have refused to allow me to change my flights or refund me The customer service is horrendous I have reached out to the customer service department before leaving any reviews I tried to resolve this through them but after a few months they refuse to acknowledge what they did was misleading I am no longer looking to change flights I just want a refund and move on from this company It feels like a scam Customer service calls at random times they will ring once and hang up call and not leave a message with callback information I asked to schedule call back times but they do not and will call whenever They have basically told me too bad I recommend avoiding this company at all costs

warning to think twice before purchasing here When I purchased tickets the service was fast i got the e ticket right away The agent asked for a review which I did with high rating After several wks I received an email saying my flight had changes I accepted the changes 23 days ago Kept calling to follow up everyday for the last 7 days My flight is 3 weeks tickets are fully paid and I don t have the e-ticket yet They keep saying I will receive an update within 24 hrs This is a nightmare

they changed my return flight and I ask for few days later I am suppose to be flying tomorrow and still have not received any information I have tried to call in multiple to talk and been told that they are working on it now I can t through on the phone I don t understand either you have me booked on the new flight or you don t I would not choose gurufare com again and I would not recommend it to anyone else

Y all I m 95 certain that most of these positive reviews are fake This one is honest DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY Couple things 1 Every week I would get an e-mail saying that my flight had changed That was stressful 2 You won t get a refund and to have any changes to your flight is 100 if they even make changes 3 Pretty sure this place is just a scam I went to change my flight 5 days ahead of time well before the 24 hour policy and they essentially ran me in circles before it passed the 24 hour mark and then said they couldn t help me During those 5 days I continued to reach out and they consistently said someone will get back to you in 2-3 hours and then either a no one did or b it was way beyond that When I did talk to someone on the phone they sent me 2 faulty links for new tickets I requested they send me it a new way as none of my browsers phones computers were working with the link they did not It was only when I filed a complaint with consumer protection that gurufare responded with a resolution but I received a copy of their response to consumer protection and in it they lied and said I reached out 24 hours ahead I have proof of every interaction every response I gave and passed that on to consumer protection so why lie This place is sketchy take your money elsewhere

One of the airlines cancelled my connecting flight causing trouble with my eventual arrival time Airline company directed me to Gurufare as I bought my tickets from them and each flight is operated my a different airline Gurufare chat agent directed me back to the airline company for the refund request I left a review for the airline company too This whole thing cost me out-of-pocket car rental expenses delayed baggage and money Gurufare clearly don t care

My husband bought a flexible ticket with Gurufare According to the terms of ticket my husband should have been able to change the date of departure and not have to pay any additional fees unless the new fare was higher What a scam When my husband tried to change the dates the agent insisted that he had to pay extra fees not listed in the terms and conditions The agent also lied repeatedly to my husband about the terms and conditions called us late at night to the point my husband had to block the number and delayed issuing a new ticket each time my husband found a new flight for less than the original ticket It is clear that they do not even abide by their own terms and conditions and count on their victims customers either not reading the contract or not having the time to fight them My husband documented all of the above and he has filed fraud complaints with federal and state government agencies The BBB tried to contact Gurufare to mediate this but Gurufare never bothered to respond to them This is not a reputable company and we are exploring whether we can get enough other Gurufare victims together for a class action lawsuit Insist on email correspondence with them and document everything they tell you

I had a positive experience with one booking so booked again and then the problems started I selected Trip Protection and paid almost 100 but after no policy was recieved I called them After 4 days on the phone and computer to try to resolve I entered a circular system of Non-resolution I called the insurace company listed on the invoice which was Travel Guard They said no such policy exists so it goes on I Gave a glowing review before but now I need to rescind that A company is only as good as how they resolve issues that arise How simple is it to provide a policy document that was paid for Clearly impossible because no policy was generated yet was paid for

Worst experience ever I am a very experienced traveler I understand that traveling involves errors and miscues It s never perfect thats part of the fun I have been trying to get help from this company for over 8 days while traveling to fix an important issue with our airline ticket I have called the 888 phone number over 10 times each time being disconnected and never able to actually reach a human I have participated in online chats with Edgar Ashely amongst others and likely no fault of their own Ive received no help Possibly the worst service I have ever experienced a mammoth waste of my vacation time Still not resolved
