NOT EVEN WORTH A STAR arrogant rude staff not all of them never responded to a promised reply issues with a brand new car and couldn t care less total wasted space you bought the town n country franchise can t believe these companies get away with the way they rip people off this country is so corrupt the 3 cylinder micras really a piece of crap but then do they really care about ant other as long as they have got you money seriously hope you choke on your commissions and profits corrupt to the core

Do NOT use the service center

Had our company car in for MOT and was told gear box needed to be replaced It took over a month to get it fixed Poor communication never called back and were always waiting on a part or a new part and then the wrong part No apology only attitude No offer of compensation only a bill that needed to be paid before the car was picked up

Terrible communication non existent

Phoned both Hawkins Kia at Hayle and Hawkins Hyundai at Redruth to book daughter s car for a clutch change this August Still waiting for a reply 7 working days later despite phoning again Never had to wait for a booking at any garage in 40 years of owning cars and definitely won t use them for servicing if this is how they operate

Called at the Hayle branch today to look at the Sportsge range I entered the sales area and ask if I could have a look at one of the vehicles for sale As it was to be a business purchase my budget was 40-60000 The salesman seated at the desk said he would just finish what he was doing and get some keys So far so good I waited outside the showroom for him and eventually he appeared with another two customers and completely ignored me I waited for a further 5 minutes and returned home I am sure another dealer might me more accommodating

Don t trust this this company they good in screwing you over bought a new Nissan leaf i needed to trad it in 17mouths later as Im disabled i told it not worth what i can get of the settlement from Nissan finance so i lose the money i treaded my car in and about 5000 so i am trapped paying for car i cant afford as cost of living if i could of trad it in i could go on a mobile hire so be careful of sharp sells

Bought a car electric but I could not get on with it so I asked Hawkins to change it he said keep it for a few more weeks so I won t buy any more cars from them again

Asked for rear wiper on my electric car

Asked for rear wiper on my electric car to be changed on my service Was charged 39 for two front wipers instead that did not need changing and then charged a further 19 for my rear wiper to be changed after chasing service dept three times about this this took 3 weeks Sadly very dissatisfied with service Also told tyre pressure was low by service reception administrator - that too was incorrect as just had my tyres renewed locally within two weeks Hawkins reading on my tyres was well below what was reported as I went back to the company who put my tyres on and they showed me how they read tyres threads Grubby hand stains left on my steering wheel too Conclusion really dissapointed with level of service and how my complaint was handled

I dont even want to rate one star basically my Hyundai i800 developed a ad blue service fault which would not clear I booked car in for this to be looked at and service told me that the works would require a new piece of exhaust a particulate filter and a NOX sensor All in 4300 I told them unpolitely to do one I purchase a NOX sensor for 135 and fitted within an hour Re set codes and all good What a rip off and this was not the only time last year they wanted over 1000 for brakes I will never go back there

Zero aftercare

When selling a car to you they aren t too bad a typical motor sales company really The reason I have given a one star rating is the aftercare is abysmal I ve tried to get support with various queries sent multiple emails to them and just get ignored Don t expect any aftercare from Hawkins Motors
