Great experience using this app Better than other dating apps to me by far Easy to use and delete if you do not intend to continue using it I got to meet a few good people and hopefully it all works out

Better than alternatives

Better than most other similar apps I like that you don t have to do the whole swiping nonsense before being able to speak to someone It gives aesthetically challenged people such as me a bit more of a chance

i like the possibility to choose also other things than pictures as they are important to me but I see trouble in using the input to do a correct match correlation

really nice that you can also like texts and other things than pictures what however really left me wondering how hinge does take care about the following problematic thing if you can choose only one thing to like and that also always ends up as a suggestion to someone would you then logically choose that text and like it anyway even though maybe the rest is not right away convincing probably not So case 1 you dont choose it this means you dont get it in future suggestions which is not goodAnd case 2 you choose to like it but then you waste kind of maybe other peoples time what i really wonder is how you d cross correlate or decorrelate this correctlywould be really nice if you can for example choose to like more than 1 thing and maybe even to not send a like but still use it to improve your search criteria by whatever means Algorithnms are of course secret but yet i have difficulties to imagine how you would by a computer distinguish cases 1 and 2 described above and if you cant then thats kind of source for trouble

Be careful on Hinge

Hinge is a great dating app but some members are definitely dishonest They use snap chat filters or apps or software that alters their looks Very bad I m writing this review because you can t trust anyone on any dating app First thing you look is the face the face don t match it s a big red flag Technically I should report this person because I was catfished today since I m a man of his words I kept my word and did go see this person but safely I maintained distance between us obviously we went for a walk I did not say anything to her but she wasn t the person on her profile picture 100 different because she used a lot of filter Just be careful guys or girls because this is how people get hurt If someone who is not mentally right or super jealous judging type you could seriously hurt someone like that And I am still considering reporting this person

So when my mate told me about hinge I just laughed I mean it doesn t sound like a dating app Anyway I thought I d give it a go It couldn t be any worse than POF or Tinder I liked it as you find a bit more about the person instead of just pictures and swiping It took me a while to create an account The questions and answers took alot of thought I dated a few people but find it really hard I started chatting to this guy and we chatted for weeks before we met Some us need to know that person a bit more before that dreaded nervous 1st date I m lucky to say the 1st date was amazing Such a wonderful evening And now a year later we still going strong I m so glad I took my mates advice
