Msi customer service for technical support assistance
I called up to some technical with a Msi b450 tomahawk max 2 motherboard for front panel configuration for a case to what order the leads needs to be plugged not on stupid imbecile person didn t help even thought I had manual booklet in front of me and they had their pdf manual up all gave the information and configuration was wrong entirely I called 4x over I spoke to 3 level 1 support and supervisor and not one of the stupid people msi helped me properly what the is the bloody point of technical support if there don t known their own products and if their configurations or having a manual booklet that doesn t make sense and not having their texts on their motherboards lined with right plug-in headers Regret dealing with msi this is the 2nd time dealt with them in the last past year and both times were appalling customer support to help I had refer to Msi YouTube video to get the information and have the front io case panels in the right order connected I am going to making a tech review on YouTube about my experiences both times and shaming Msi and they bloody see this I can not recommend Msi as reputable as a pc brand if they can t get there international or there Australian customer service team helping customers then get out the industry customers want your help on your products But customers on a global scale don t have the right level of customer support to get their questions answered your 1 star experience is so high

Msi customer service on the phone
I called Msi to get some technical support help in relation to a mother board instead of telling me what to know while I as in there website to locate the latest 2024 motherboard drivers they refused to guide me to that part on there website instead to get the drivers I give out my email address that I didn t want to just to get that part of the website and now it prescribes to there marketing material and serveys that I don t want If they just told me what I needed to know and if they listed all there drivers for there products on all regions of there website it would be easier to but as usual Msi makes calls frustrating and there website is hard to navigate I also have some issues with my graphics card after telling me the other day to buy the cable I needed and the version on of the cable it s didn t fix my display problem for my 4K tv for display resolution Msi is absolutely horrible to deal with as always there ridiculous methods to resolve problems is crap Recommended don t buy msi components for current pc or new pc build stay clear of msi components stick to the other pc manufacturers over msi

Extremely Disappointed with MSI s Service and Quality
I regret to say that my experience with MSI has been nothing short of frustrating After purchasing an MSI laptop I encountered hardware issues that led me to send it for repair at one of MSI s appointed service centers in Malaysia Despite assurances that the faulty parts would be replaced under warranty the service center installed subpar replacement parts that were visibly damaged and of questionable quality To make matters worse the communication with both MSI and the service center has been inconsistent and unhelpful MSI requested numerous details including invoices and job orders only to later state that they have no control over the service center s actions and have left me to deal with the situation on my own It s beyond disappointing to deal with a brand that refuses to take responsibility for its authorized service providers I expected much more from MSI both in terms of product quality and customer support I ll certainly be looking elsewhere for my tech needs in the future

Trash level of after-sale service
MSI warranty service offered to replace the damaged monitor with a refurbished replacement I accepted the exchange and the service confirmed the transfer of the exchange for execution The next day however they stated that the monitor is from a foreign distribution so the exchange will not be made in this country Despite the questions they did not provide more information on how to complain about the product in the correct region and sent the defective monitor back without repair This is not an isolated case If something can t be fixed they reject the RMA for all sorts of ridiculous reasons Very often rejected RMAs come back in a much worse condition than they were sent which raises a lot of doubts Is the tragic MSI service trying to cover up its damage to the monitor by rejecting the RMA

BAD Laptops don t buy
I have loved msi for years as a company but the laptops questionable Purchased the Cyborg 15 A12V in March It has spent more time in the repair centre than my own hands So far I have had a full replacement due to performance issues 2nd laptop i got a nice Samsung 990 nvme upgrade to 1Tb and under medium load 95 degree s I send it off for repair low and behold the track pad has not even be tightened properly and it s sinking half way into the laptop I have now realised that msi have clearly fallen from once the well established company that provided quality products for a reasonable price to a company that focuses on profit and how much they can duck and dodge their customers I think it s time a new competitor enters the market and puts them out to pastor as they have been good for years but have become far to greedy and complacent Don t take my word for it go read the reviews I wish I saw the reviews before buying Live and learn

Extremely disappointed
I am extremely disappointed with my experience with MSI and the handling of my faulty MSI Prestige 14 AI Studio Laptop The level of service has been unacceptable and the delays in resolving the issue have caused significant inconvenience I purchased the laptop on 28 10 2024 and despite waiting over a month for it to be available for collection it developed a fault within the first month of use After spending over four hours with a technician trying to resolve the issue I had to return it for repair on 06 01 2025 An RMA was issued on 07 01 2025 yet as of 03 02 2025 there has been no progress or resolution date provided This means I have now been without a functioning laptop for over a month which is entirely unacceptable for a premium device The lack of communication and the lengthy delays in getting the issue resolved reflect poorly on MSI s commitment to customer service I expected far better from a company of MSI s reputation but this experience has left me frustrated and dissatisfied I would urge potential buyers to think twice before purchasing MSI products if after-sales support is important to them UPDATE 7 Feb 2025MSI has now returned the unit to Scan Computers with the following repair report Dear Customer The repair work has been completed on your xxxxx which has been repaired and thoroughly tested by our technicians The following repair work was carried out OPERATING SYSTEM RECOVERYThis response is completely inadequate given that the original issue was Windows 11 failing to activate The Windows OEM activation key is embedded into the BIOS and Scan s own technicians spent over four hours attempting to reinstall Windows without success and contacted Microsoft about the issue Scan has provided the following explanation We have requested further details from MSI who confirmed that no physical hardware fault was found with the unit Since the issue relates to software MSI likely performed a factory reset using the device s recovery partition or an external backup image Additionally no specific root cause was identified Given the nature of the issue reported OS corruption can result from various factors including sudden power loss during installation or updates malware or viruses incorrect drivers or updates Does anyone else feel like they are blaming user error Seriously This is not an acceptable response for a device that failed within the first month of use Both Scan and MSI have failed to properly diagnose the issue and I am left questioning the reliability of their support and repair processes
