Disappointed in the lack of compassion
Disappointed in the lack of compassion and empathy I had an accident last year where both of my feet were broken and had 5 major surgeries I purchased several thousands of dollars in clothes on line while in bed This clothing normally runs true to size I normally use a large when I was able to walk and stand I tried on the dresses and everything else I had purchased The two dresses and one shirt did not fit They were too big I have called the company several times and they told me sorry they cannot refund or give me a credit I told him I specific problem that I had a catastrophic accident and I was unable to walk for several months and they didn t even acknowledge or empathy about my injury I do not understand why they will not make an exception and help me since I had a valid reason for not returning the dresses It is not my fault that the company did not make the dresses the sizes that they have on the label I have reached out many many times and requested a supervisor to call me and no one has called me back I find it is extremely difficult to return anything you purchase online The worst part is that I cannot even return it at the store because they do not allow the store to return online product Very sad Daisy Wortel Miami

I can t get off their mailing list
I can t get off their mailing list after a year of requesting it by contacting them by phone email and their own unsubscribe on the website They get around it by making you enter your name and email and address in order to be removed then proceed to re-enter your info and mail to previous addresses with the or current resident printed on the label so the USPS has to deliver it It s like Mickey Mouse in the Sorcerer s Apprentice with the mop and buckets that keep multiplying - just can t get them to stop and at this point I wouldn t buy anything with their label on it if I was buck naked and it was minus zero cold

Take your money and run
I bought over 500 of clothing in store that was to be shipped I was promised tracking and an email receipt When I didn t receive it I called the local store which did not answer so I called corporate I was on hold for 5 min prior to getting a live person Once I got a live person I was put on hold while she checked for over 15 minWhile holding and checking emails there was an auto email giving me a ticket number and telling me phones are busy and call back another time Didn t have the courtesy of telling me verbally If I didn t see the email I would still be on hold Very disappointing Still have no info on my purchase

Johnny Was added an additional charge to my card after the fact
I bought a dress from the Johnny Was website The dress was on sale plus I had a coupon code The total came to 229 60 My confirmation email showed everything correctly - the purchase price labeled subtotal discount tax and then total For the tax it said included in subtotal which then made the math correct But Johnny Was made a second charge against my account for an additional 16 02 When I called them they explained that there was an error in their system and so the additional charge was to correct their error A business cannot decide after the fact that they should have charged more than the customer agreed to and make a 2nd charge But they won t fix it and have already shipped the dress

JW MISLABELED WRONG SIZE CLOTHES NO CREDIT
I recently purchased a few items during the extra off markdown summer sale Unfortunately 2 of the items even though labeled XL the size ordered when i tried the items on they clearly did not fit so something was wrong with items I took my measuring tape and was very upset to find out both items were mislabeled with the wrong sizes The pants for an XL should have measured 50 inches wide they did not they measured 45 5 which according to the JW size chart is the measurement for a L not the XL they were labeled So these items according to JW are not returnable because they are 50 off I cannot wear these items because they dont fit and were labeled with the WRONG SIZE Regardless I mailed them back and demanded a REFUND and if I dont get the REFUND I will be calling my CC COMPANY to complain and get my money back BEWARE about this before ordering from JW in the future

Have given 1 star only because it wouldn t allow me to give zero stars Service There is no customer service Have tried to return the only item I have ever bought from Johnny Was but cannot get passed item not yet shipped have emailed many times asking for help not even an acknowledgment This will be my first and last purchase from this rip off site I have been left with an expensive top which I can t wear and a can t return Never again

WRONG ITEM sent no refund no apology
Johnny Was sent me the WRONG ITEM in an order I made 2 of the items I ordered including of course THEIR ERROR had to be returned They refunded me for one item right away The other item the one SENT TO ME IN ERROR arrived back to them on the same day yet I haven t been refunded yet I ve called and emailed both multiple times with no help or apology for their error being offered They also refused to provide me with contact information for their Customer Service so I could share my concerns directly with the department that is supposed to care for the company s customers Worst customer service I ve ever had especially since THEY MADE A MISTAKE

Be careful about giving your credit
Be careful about giving your credit card details to the online store Purchased and paid for a top on line in August 2022 October 3 a charge for 345 was made by Johnny Was to my credit card They have confirmed that someone at JW attempted to use my card but it was declined I have informed them that the charge went through and given them proof that it is still a debit on my VISA They will not tell me why they were keeping my credit card details on file without permission or why someone was attempting to use my cardf 2 months after my purchase I am going to have to register a fraud and cancel the card

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICEThey DO NOT listen to you at all Even if you are stuck in an emergency I just got stuck with a 400 dress that DID not meet the price standards that Johnny Was should keep The dress size did not match with their size chart nor did the color match and neither did the quality of material match with what it should have been for their dresses DO NOT EVER BUY THINGS THAT ARE OVER 100 with their store I have bought merchandise worth thousands and they treat customers like crap
