Staff are always friendly and welcoming its just a shame you don t have a bigger range of food for cockatiel or someone that works there that could advise

Car parking was good side exit open so less queues than normal Lots of staff mainly seemed to be stacking shelves Store clean and tidy One member of staff offered assistance was looking for product which he did not seem to recognise even though on the shelf in front of him Checkout staff not as helpful re discount options and no one offered to take goods to the car despite having two 12 5 kg sacks in trolley

Normally I love this shop as does my companion however the member of staff that served me was very obviously having an off day she bordered on rude and was definitely not a pleasant encounter

Staff should ask before touching someone s puppy

I came in with my young puppy carried as he s only had 1 vaccine so far to experience the shop and to pick up a few things The store is well laid out and I picked up a few unusual things that I hadn t seen elsewhere But staff should really know to ask to say hi to a dog especially one so young One of your staff walked right up to me started stroking my puppy without asking I was always taught to ask before petting someone s dog not only is it polite but it s also necessary in case the dog can t be petted or is a bite risk The lady who served me at the tills was lovely friendly and super polite Didn t go to touch my puppy either

A couple of little issues

Went in to buy frozen mice to feed my snakes the counter was busy so walked to the freezer section bit no mice there so queued for the cashier They were behind the counter only sold in larger packs but at a reasonable price however had to compromise on the sizes I needed So please improve In store signage and try not to run out of stock maybe by selling packs of 5 as well as packs of 10

This was my first visit

This was my first visit to the Peterborough store I ve normally shopped at pets at home but wanted to try a different company There looks like a good variety and quantity in the store the prices are average hence the average score Yes I will be back

great service but our dogs get upset stomachs when the eat the lamb from your own selection packs of your own food

In a word there was only one customer assistant at the checkout she was busy serving someone I was wondering round getting frustrated and on top of that the weather was horrible Don t get me wrong I know what I went in for BUT the assistance wasn t there

Lovely experiencel

Very helpful in showing me what I need for my budgie The food containers that came with the cage do not really fit properly and my budgie escaped on Monday and is still flying around my bedroom I would have liked them to explain about the egg food a bit more as I was unaware that he also needed other seed too Overall a helpful service
