Great experience - fun and life skills gained

My daughter has just arrived home from a fantastic trip which she really enjoyed and got so much out of Andy was very helpful with my pre-trip enquiries

Nothing is too much for the staff

Nothing is too much for the staff Ginge even left his hot meal to come and help us The music on arrival and team waiting outside to greet us was really nice Done several residentials and have to say this was by far the nicest welcome we ve ever had anywhere Little touches like that stand out We ll done Guys Shout out to Roman Gracie Sam aka Ginge Tyler Michaela and Thiannon We WILL be back

Enthusiastic and caring staff

The staff were so fun and kind You could tell they enjoyed their job and were enthusiastic about the activities they were running As young adults we just generally want to have fun and Kingswood gave us this Everything we did was exciting The free times were perfect Not too much but just enough that we could have a little nap and also talk to our leaders The accommodation was also very good Seven of us shared a bedroom of eight and it was perfect We were provided with kosher food which was very kind and compassionate taking in account of our food preferences The diner staff were super nice too They easily answered to anyone s concerns Thank you for the best week Kingswood

Massive Thanks - Colomendy

We would like to express gratitude to all the staff at Colomendy and supporting staff in making our weekend a very memorable experience All the boys had a smile on their faces traveling back with stories to tell The accommodation was comfortable and the food was varied with the additional salad bar as a bonus A special thanks goes to James our activity leader who looked after us through our duration funny entertaining and engaging The programme set out for the weekend was amazing with a varied fixture of things to do with some of the boys overcoming their challenges fears We would definitely recommend Collomendy and hope to return in the near future Ignore most of the negative feedback from here if my child comes back exhausted that means they had a good time if i feel a spring in my back from the mattress that means i am not paying The Ritz London if the kids see a spider that means they are in the great outdoors enjoy it you ll soon be home again in your comforts

What a day

Kingswood is a fantastic venue with delicious food and excellent staff From the moment I contacted the centre about our team day for 33 staff they were great communicative with keen attention to detail to ensure our staff needs were catered for from the room required equipment right through to labelling allergens on out ploughman s lunch as we had varying dietary requirements The organisation before the event was exemplary On the day the process was easy the room was set up ready for us to use the facilities were clean and tidy and the staff for the organised activities were engaging We could choose different activities to account for various levels of daredevilry and ability so all staff felt able to participate Staff have given such positive feedback about the day even though we did work in the morning Well done to Ian and his team

Blind and Partially Sighted Students visit Kingswood Peak Venture

Recently returned from Kingswood Peak Venture with a group of blind and partially sighted students The staff were great at accommodating our student s needs and adapting activities Admin staff were brill beforehand making alterations to our timetable and allowing us to have an additional classroom space The students thoroughly enjoyed all the activities and have received great feedback from them and their parents Food was good - think school dinners But as our students were slightly older they sometimes went up for seconds which was allowed As other have mentioned the accommodation is basic - think youth hostel - but I m unsure what you d expect from an outdoor education centre Our staff bedrooms all had ensuites and we were so tired from the days activities it didn t matter about the comfiness of the beds We were slightly nervous about taking a group of VI students to a place we had not been before but they were honestly so brilliant and reassuring - the students had a great time We will definitely be going back Thanks again

Not just for young people

As an establishment well known for great quality school residentials it was a joy to hold our company s quarterly team meeting there for 35 staff A spacious and comfortable meeting room was available with excellent catering in both selection and quantity with the added bonus of team building activities in the afternoon including tasters of problem solving zipwire laser tag and bushcraft - something for everyone We witnessed many of the 780 young people on site who were all happy and engaged With such a vast number of quality activities evident - we observed a smooth and slick operation as the groups rotated - amazing logistics Would thoroughly recommend - and not just for young people

Our year for children loved Kingswood

We took our year 4 children to Kingswood in March They had a great time and all the activities were safe and lead well The food was good and very accommodating for allergies Nothing was too much for them right down to hot sandwiches on the last day We stayed in the pods which are lovely only downside was that they were cold in the night and should have had the heating left on We will definitely go again next year
