This is a fantastic course I m an experienced residential landlord so know a bit about property though not so much about commercial it is a lot more involved than residential I saw Kirsty speak at the Property Investors Show and she was one of a few speakers who spoke common sense who shoots from the hip and tells you how it is And believe me there are lots of experts at shows like this who tell you all kinds of nonsense about investing in property to entice you to spend money on their bonkers courses and services I m not a course type of person I just read books and listen to podcasts then get out on the ground and learn as I go So for me to sign up for a course is unusual The course starts straight out telling you the basics of investing in commercial what works how it works the various choices of investment - so trends and opportunities So within 90 minutes you know the framework of how commercial works The course continues with how to find properties then how to analyse them and to establish what makes a good deal Adding value reducing risk and then on to the wordy stuff leases tenants tax and funding Kirsty doesn t waffle so each module is concise She started years ago at the bottom and worked her way up through large corporates and is now finally on her own You don t get to do that by waffling on She also still invests a lot herself and for clients so she is still very active in commercial I just found the the whole course very easy to watch and easy to understand You get lots of docs too lease examples deal analysers valuation reports plus all the module slides which I ve printed out the main parts and they are scribbled all over with my notes that I ve got from other sources Two key points - firstly there is plenty of deal analysis where she runs through deals valuing them explaining how the deal was bought worked and then rented or sold These are GREAT Secondly this course is really about buying good deals and asset managing them with some light refurbs maybe a bit more if necessary Kirsty is after profits with as little hands on work as possible - so this is not a course with lots about complicated developing planning etc This is perfect for me There are other courses that do this but I prefer Kirsty s approach which is far less stress Lastly I also got to join Kirsty s Whatsapp group where there were monthly meetings during which people could submit deals and Kirsty would go through them Again this was GREAT There was also chance to go on regular on site days where you d meet Kirsty and a few others at one of her sites and she would walk you through the deal the area etc very interesting And to top it off I had a private 45 min call with Kirsty at the end to give me the final pointers as to strategy One other point - there is no massive hard selling in the course to sign up for something else and this is not a course where you get some of the info but then need to pay more and join a more elite group to get the real juicy bits Everything you need to invest in commercial is in this course You have an option at the end to join Kirsty s club where she will analyse deals with you in her meetings etc but that is it The whole thing was worth every penny - and remember I m not one those course people who needs constant training I ve already offered on two properties and I m really confident about going forward in commercial Thanks Kirsty
