There seems to be a theme here as I like many others have been kept waiting on be proceeds from selling my shares I get fobbed off and told it is acceptable to take a week to get back to you Have now raised 3 times and no resolution Maybe requires the FSA to look at what they are doing with the interest they gain on holding onto peoples money longer than they should be If you don t have to use them would certainly look elsewhere

Worst company I have ever and hopefully ever have dealt with communication skills are awful Email reply s about my own money take 5-6 weeks Waiting on share certificates to be reissued and getting no information back honestly don t know why some of the majors use them at all It actually would put me off buying shares through any company if they were associated I suppose if we don t complain then they won t know hence I write this

I ve sold company shares 3 times via Signal Shares a link group portal mandated by my previous employer Every single time there has been an issue They seem to be incapable of paying sale proceeds on time The portal doesn t accurately reflect the status of any shares An urgent referral to back office takes a minimum of 48 hours to get any other answer other than I don t know When I have raised complaints the managers are defensive and unhelpful and make no acknowledgment of the mistakes that have been made A lot of issues are blamed on the system Calls are dropped for no reason Despite insisting on taking phone numbers and email addresses to contact you back on in case the call is dropped they never actually do call you back when they have inevitably dropped your call I really would expect more from a financial services company

Still no money 1 month after closure
Transaction processed on 28th May told will receive money up to 10 working days after It is now 21st June approaching 4 weeks after and still no money received On hold for far too long transferred to different departments and still no further forward on where my money is or when I can expect to receive it Something does not seem right and trying to make complaint not the easiest

Absolutely awful
Absolutely awful Requested my funds to be paid by BACS and they sent a cheque to my EX WIFE S ADDRESS Weeks later It is now June and I m still waiting on reimbursement for my May contribution Communication is slow indifferent and they absolutely will ignore what they choose to My advice if you need to contact them is to clearly and consisely ask one single question per email but even then be prepared to be ignored Looking into who I can escalate my complaint with

Complaints procedure is a joke
Took 3 months for them to give our solicitor a simple confirmation of number of shares my late Mother in law held Only got the information after numerous calls made by my husband He made a formal complaint I won t bore anyone with the details but needless to say the complaint wasn t dealt with just numerous letters including duplicates extending the time line Pathetic is a compliment We are now waiting for a transfer of the holding into my husband s name After reading all the reviews I expect we are in for a long wait

I can t begin to tell you how appalling this company is Customer service reps nust be given lessons in how to provide bad vague and totally unhelpful lessons I have now been dealing with them for 4 months Dealing with them over some shares my late mother held I ve provided all requisite information necessary including paying Link a cheque of my own for Indemnity only to be sent a cheque in the name of my late mother Couldn t therefore pay it in to my own bank account Promised it would be treated as urgent and cheque reissued in correct name Now over 2 weeks later just been told original cheque now cancelled I was told this would take effect immediately Now being processed again apparently Some new information appears at every call Left holding on phone for 30 mins not know if rep was actually coming back to me Only to be told another vague answer after doggedly pushing him still no cheque received I would rather lose a tooth than deal with this company ever again

Appalling service has so far taken 8 months not to sell one shareholding belonging to my late mother in law Have sent numerous documents paid them money etc etc and now they want more money because they claim the Share Certificates are not valid Never ever deal with Link if you have any choice at all they are utterly useless

A dreadful company FACT
A dreadful company at doing what they say they will do If you are prepared to get really bad customer service then go ahead deal with these incompetent people If you don t have to give them a miss as you will get very frustrated at their total lack of any professionalism A simple changeover of shares from my deceased father to me is proving to be impossible with Link Asset Services - a total waste of my time effort money
